Thank you so very much for your reply GreenFeather, your insight means a lot to me.
Well...we have both been growing in our spirituality, separately, in the past "3" years however, this year "2003", we have been drawn in spiritual strength together. She has become comfortable with my spirituality in healings and has come to view me as a spiritual teacher for her. She told me she is drawn spiritualy to the healing works, but does not know what to do or how to go about it...protection,etc., and if I would not mind teaching her.
Her pastor has only met me approx. 3-4 times, and told mom she felt guided, by the Spirit, to tell her something. (The Pastor has not been told that I am a Reiki Master/Practitioner nor, have I been guided to tell her). As mom was attending church services that day, she told mom she had a vision that,(mom) and I, are going to be joined together for healing works.
At mom's house,(the home I grew up in)April 4, 2003; mom, me, and "3" of our closets spiritual friends were sharing a prayer circle/holding hands. We felt an overwhelming prescense of the Holy Spirit and then I felt it coming over and through my body. The enery was magnificant! It is the most beautiful and powerful moment in my life. I will never, ever forget it. When it hit, and I fell out of the circle backwards, mom also felt it and fell out of the circle backwards. There was a magnificant amount of love and beauty among us all that night.
I have never borrowed monies from my mom, but with complete love, respect and admiration, I do gratefully and lovingly give to her spending money out of every pay check earned, pay her hospital bills, medicines, propane bill, etc. for the past 3-4 years, I will not allow life to become a financial burden on her, as long as I live.
Yes, GreenFeather, you are so very right in your questions, I do feel the need to repay her 3x's for being there for me every moment of my life when I needed her. Because, not once, did I ever have to wonder where my mom was or when she would be back. And when I chose to be there for her finacially, that is what I told her. "This is my way of paying you back for all you have given me, and still, what I give you will never be enough, compared to the mother you were and still are, to us."
Thank you GreenFeather! You have helped me put "mom's" dream into perspective.
~With great love and light to you, always and forever~
