Bizzare dreams

Namaste!

I wondered if someone can help me figure this out.

I had this dreams for about 5 times in the last two months. It never happens in deep sleep, always when I get asleep or while waking up. I find myself in the graveyard of our village, above the grave of my grandfather and his ancestors, ripping off a parcel of grass where the head would go. At that moment I usually wake up because I get aware of the dream and feel like it's not OK to do this. The feeling is nothing scarry but more of bizzare. And the funny thing is the actual grave doesn't have one grass on it, it's covered by sand.

Any idea would be kindly appreciated.

nadja,

/*\ Namaste :-}}

- one view is that "peeling away" symbolism can manifest in a myriad of modes and themes

- perhaps there are some ancestral issues that need looking at??

- or perhaps an issue you thought was "dead", so to speak, was merely repressed??

- any number of possible views.

- but repeated dreams are definitely a "message" trying to get your attention - repeated dreams also sometimes indicate that it may be time to "wake up" to lucid dreaming

- hope this helps

reiki all around,

Nadja...I does seem as though a "message" is there for you...and the dream repeating itself to you seems to say "pay attention"..kinda like when your grandfather would tell you something...being by the grave..could imply something "down under"or within you..such as digestive system..and the grass could refer to emotions..that are hidden...down under..also could be the inner part of you..the circulatoy system..and the sand..actually being there..and not the grass..can perhaps imply..things just may not be as they seem..again.."down under"..it is your dream..it is your message...think on it and see if your grandfather is in fact telling you to check on things within..be it health/emotional related..Just my thoughts..hope it helps to shed some light on your dream..Earthangel

Hi hope,

Recurring dreams likely indicate an important message or an issue that you are not reacting to. Is there something in your personal life that you are "stalling" from dealing with, or some decisions you have been putting off for some reason?

Ripping off the grass - perhaps is an indication to look below the surface, dig under to the roots? I think there is some significance with you specifying "where the head would go".

Is there an intellectual issue that you need to dig further into - get more clarification on? Could it be something with a connection to the past since you are also specifying ancestors?

>aware of the dream and feel like it's not OK to do this. The feeling is nothing scarry but more of bizzare.

Possibly something that you were told not to worry about, but your subconscious won't let it go. Now it's urging you to dig deeper, get to the roots. Even though it's in the past, maybe it's time to bring it up without being scared?

Just my two cents worth, which may or may not have any bearing on *your true meaning*.

In light and love,
Featherpoint

Dear Nadja,

Along with the other advice I would suggest that the next time the dream occuress , that you take a more proactive role. Affect the plot with your will and curiousity. Stop and examine more closly something that before you watched unfold passively. Or just ask a question. And continue to be brave remembering that it is your dream construct.

Namaste!

Thank you all for your answers and for the energy you shared with me. It feel so good to be able to talk things out.

I also tried to relive the dream when conscious and some hidden feelings came into awareness. And with all your lines something pop up more clear. It's probably good time to re-start a dream diary. I quit because I rarely remember any dream clearly. Not the best choice.

Thank you all again!

Dear Nadja,

The personal significance of the dream to you is more relevant than my input. However, I was wondering if you have or may in the future uncover or expose something about your grandfather or come into conflict somehow with his beliefs? Have knowledge of something you feel should rest in peace & not come to light that involves you or grandfather or something you have in common? Exposing an issue laid to rest? Not wanting to face it?(dont mean necessarily something bad, we all have things we or other family members keep to ourselves). The fact that you feel its not OK to do this suggests some personal internal conflict perhaps? Anyway, thats what popped into my mind.

peace & joy,
holobon

Hi Hope.

Jeez this reminds me of the ant song Hiiigh Hopes.

Anyway.

First thing that pops into my mind is

Literally ....Picking your Grandfather's mind. Something he told you along time ago that you are afraid to remember.
