I have read all the messages. I am touched by your sharings. I moved in April from my small community back to Longview. My partner and I shared over the phone about our different activities. One night I had the notion that The Holy was willing to assist with our effort to stop a tyrant. While being Reiki I asked that the leaders learn the his whereabouts. My partner was doing the same but neither of us had mentioned this. That was the day!

When in a meeting with Phyllis (the grand master) someone asked her what she recommended to us that we could do for world peace. (This was in 2000) She said without any hesitation, "Self treatment".

Peace really does begin within us. Your discussion about sharing life with creatures, was really right on. Some of them will negotiate with you. Spiders will pay attention to your requests. A friend of mine did not want any spiders in his house and announced this edict to them. He gave them so many days to move on. On the deadline day, they were gone. Occassionally a newcomer arrived and he told him the same thing. He was always respectful, courteous, and firm. His wife did not mind spiders. So they modified this edict to: they could be in the house but must remain unseen. Webs would show up, but no spiders were ever seen.

My partner is planting 10 acres into orchard and garden in preparation for building and living there. She has elk, deer, all the little creatures, insects, slugs, and kangaroo mice. Most of them have negotiated with her. Slugs and kangaroo mice pay no attention to her. To slugs she told them that she was placing beer out for them. They had the choice to drink it or not. It was their call. She is considering making screens to cover new plants in her garden to keep out the mice,so they have a chance to grow. She allots certain areas to others and insists that certain areas be left for her and her family. She is finally making portable cages to cover blueberry bushes so they can get a good start. She is never discourteous to anything.

My garden has a blue jay, a crow, a rabbit, that come every day to eat what I have dug up. The rabbit eats elsewhere so far. All of them learned to coexist immediately without fear. A squirrel buries things. I talk to everything. The crow is the most responsive. We will see how it goes as veggies begin to grow. I am putting in frames around raised beds with black cloth in all the pathways. It will be no till from now on. When I work the soil with my hands, I alert the worms so they can move before I turn them up. My, I do love to work soil! The real pleasure of being retired.

I was really tried one year when my peas were invaded by aphids. It was my first experience with them. I put out crisis calls to my friends about how to get rid of them. They only helped me let them be. And a hugh army of landbugs arrived. I lost the peas but the aphids did not spread.

I can not relate to your experiences of fear of creatures. Bees and wasps come up to examine me (I probably smell) they buzz around decide I'm not a flower and leave. In the northwest, we have much fewer household pests then the south. (I remember roaches when I lived in Florida. They just walked in the door.) I catch insects that have gotten caught inside and turn them outside. Everything has consciousness and hears our thoughts. Everything reacts to fear. If they feel fear from you they know there is something there to fear and it will be you they fear and will react accordingly.

Our teacher walked me through the first time I god rid of horsetail which was overtaking one section of our garden. (someone had brought them in from the woods because it was so pretty not realizing that it would be impossible to get rid of.) I told the whole bunch who resided in my gerden that I would find them a new home. It would be as moist as they like and would give them as much room as they would want. I asked to have a volunteer to move and all the rest of them would follow suit. I discerned the volunteer, dug its roots up carefully, took it to a lovely spot where they were needed to reclaim the earth (which is their job). My garden had less and less while surrounding gardens continued to have this invasion to cope with.

Well, I have waxed long here, adding my sharing with yours.

Oh, yeah, one more thing. It is more powerful to meditate with someone else. As soon as I can finsh moving in (I spend most my time in the garden) I will open a meditation room for any who want to come one night each week. It will double as the Reiki room also.

I want to add more. About healing the earth. She is healing herself. She needs us to stay with her vibration and she is speeding up. It helps to lie on her, sit or walk on her, feel her beat. It feels like another heart beating in you. The first time I felt it, I got really befuddled, how could I feel another heart beat here, I could not be pregnant! We help her by staying with her.
She Reikis us, feel it.

It is she who has decreed there would be no more ego here. Ego still exists only as we hang on to it and move with the old ego-system. As we let it go, shifts occur! I know this one. It took me so long just to recognize the voice of ego in my head! She was vibrating at 6.5 when this all began. Then she speeded up to 8, then 9. There are times now when she reaches 21. (I do not know how this is measured) We have to vibrate at her rate if we want to survive here.

I find earth very forgiving, understanding, generous. She will take our shit and transmute it when we release it.

There is a book that quotes some of the Beings who assist earth. It is the Workbook from Peralendra (sp) The gist of it is that ages ago when we created ego and began creating the ego system, and all the misadventures took place on earth, these beings took the excess negativity and held it for us until such time as we could take care of it ourselves. That has now all been released back to us. It is up to us to clean up our own mess! That is what brings world peace.

God has already blessed us and given us world peace, it is our part to let it come through. We blocked it. We are the ones who can change it. We choose. We have the greatest gift of all. The power of choice.

I wonder if you could tell me more about the book you mention in your message?

I hope to start reiki this year, having 'stumbled' on it (it was like meeting an old friend, I KNEW!)and am trying to make some headway into understanding what we are all about. I intend to go as far with reiki as I can - if I never go further than level I, so be it. Trying to take a step at a time instead of rushing headlong and losing sight of where i am going.

I can't articulate too well the feeling/instinct I have been aware of since receiving reiki - it crystallised a lot of things for me and seemed to herald something necessary and important. In short, too many things seem linked, for example, from the core of the religions I know about, James Redpath's synchronicity, Gurdjieff's vibrations, the spiritual power of music and nature, new science, how we continue to struggle to 'prove' mechanistic man, superstring theory - the more we try to unravel the so called real world, the more links we seem to be finding. And for me - and I know many others - learning new things sometimes gives a 'flash' of understanding and awareness about everything - and I would love to extend these 'flash' moments into a greater and more usable enlightenment.

Sorry to ramble, your messages have lifted me! And I agree wholeheartedly with your thoughts on earth healing. It really does start with yourself - as within, so without! And us gardeners have long known talking to our environment makes a difference. Never even thought about using reiki to communicate in the way you have described. I have so much to learn!

Anyway, if you have any advice on books etc/other contacts/information, I would be very grateful.

Amma, The books that give information about earth's speed up are by Gregg Barden. One is Awakening to Zero Point the other is Living in Two Worlds, I think.

Conversations with God I, tells about the function and power of choice, our free will.

Oh, God! the movie is right on! so far as I'm concerned.

I will look up more references tomorrow.

If you want to read a huge book, there is Urantia that gives a picture of the All That Is, the third density world we live in. This tells about all the mishaps on Earth that do not take place on other planets. It tells about the world we will be moving into soon.

Thank you, once again, for your words. WE have so many things and inspirations in common.

EArth healing is and has been for many years.........a BIG interest of mine. Yes, I know she heals herself..........but there is a great appreciation and.......mmmmmmmm..........something........can't put a word to it.........when we take some responsibility and actually actively direct healing to her.

I've also experienced areas in which....for lack of a better term.....negativity or "darkness" was so dominate that a severing or break was necessary and a reestablishment of healing flow felt necessary.

As an expamle...I was drawn (more like dragged in) to work on an area that encompassed a 40 mile (approximately) circumfrence. I was led to ground and seal the energy (from a distance, I might add) was later busted as a methamphedamine lab. Being far, far in the "country" - almost a no mans land- the lab seemed to be in operation for about 10 years. The longer the lab was in operation, the wider the dark energetic influence spread over the area. (I have come to learn the dark influence of methamphadamines.....the drug, with each consecutive use, systematicly reduces the inflowing light to an individual....or that is the best way I can explain it. Or, perhaps, a better descriptionis it decreases the channel in through which light comes into the body.) I know I'm not explaining this very well. It can be so hard to describe in words experiences and understandings from another level.

I always did the work as my husband and I traveled (drove or flew) most times to peices of ground I could not see from the highway we were traveling on. Some locations I later learned were necular power plants or......some I never learned about.

Once, as we were driving thru the deserts of New Mexico.......the land, for miles, was literally crying out for energy.......it wasn't just my hands....my WHOLE BODY came "on" flowing healing energy. I saw a tiny little hutt in the vast distance...a structure...small and round...that was the neuleous...where the energy had to be grounded. I pointed and said do you see that building out there...........my husband (who never wants to address spiritual/energetic things and has to be damn near dying and in excurating pain to ask me to work on him) said "yes, there is some very bad puuky coming from that building. you need to work on it, please."

Sorry, I've rambled too long.
The Earth, our Mother, is my passion. Needless to say. *grin*

A dear friend, on a Native Mound, in ceremony touched a blade of grass and said that we have no idea how much the earth appreciates our thankfulness ... for her bearing us, holding us, supporting us, not denying us even though we steal precious minerals from her.

I feel thankfulness brings healing as well.

Thanks for the beautiful post. The smallest acts we do, done with kindness, intent and care, bring great healing - now and generations down the line.
