I have placed a post in the Announcements about an horrific situation in the Solomon Islands where wild dolphins are being captured, held and shipped off for sale to Mexico and other locations. This involves enormous suffering on their part, as they are held, handled and tranported most cruelly, resulting in deaths, illness and trauma. Please read my post there for details....basically fellow aussies could help me here as I do believe Australia and New Zealand are in the best position to take urgent action, but then, voices from all around the world would certainly make the cry for help louder!!!! Please can you help?

Sunshine, thank you for bringing this to our attention. I want to add this information. Dolphins are human. Many times they allow themselves to be mishandled partly to allow us to notice them. They are helping to heal us so we can move into higher vibrations. If we only knew?

Thank you for that perspective, finality. I agree, and it is like so many we love - when there is suffering it is to point us in a certain direction, make us "aware", and not simply be something we have to fix at all costs.
having said that, I still have been so shocked to read the reports and articles coming in about this. Somehow, the cetaceans are so sacred....it just seems to me like someone trying to sell/abuse children. I have an intellectually handicapped daughter who is so connected with whales and dolphins - she is very upset about this of course - and it is hard to explain that this is what "people" do to each other, not just God's creatures. Still, I am putting my voice to the outcry about this and hope these darn politicians/people in places of power stand up and do something.
I will be praying for these beautiful creatures and the seemingly not so beautiful creatures who are causing their suffering....
