Thought it might be helpful for you to know there might be a problem.

I then went to David Isaiah's Home Page.

I went to myhome page and all appeared to work.

I am not sure why you had the dificult time you did.

If it continues let me know and I will contact the webmaster for Reikialoha.

I really beleive that Reiki has a wonderful place in promoting peace and reconciliation. The symbols I have been shown while not part of traditional Reiki have been useful to be and others in practice of meditation on peace and reconciliation. I am grateful that their is such opportunities to share as The Reiki Cafe and ReikiAloha.

I end up at www.ascorbate.info.
This mentions a sister site, reikialoha.
I click there, but still end up on ascorbate.

This is interesting.

I again went to Reikialoha and was able to get to my homepage.

I did post a concern and quoted your post without your name.

The ascobate information site is listed as a link at Reikialoha. I went to that site and then linked back to reikialoha and my page without problems.

The only thing I can think of, other than theususal glitches that occur with computers is that you may need to be aware of some of what that other site has to offer.

Just a consideration?

I tried once more, again without success. Re. the ascobate site, I loved your idea. In fact I do take Vit.c every day without fail, large doseage too :>}}
So, they are aiming at the converted!

I will try again sometime, to see if I can succeed, but I cannot get you direct, neither can I get to you via ascobate!

Maybe I am not meant to see something on your site :>}}

Nope, exactly the same thing, double click on your listing, and off I go to the other page, try to link to yours, and get bounced back to the other again - feeling like a boomerang!!

I am not sure how to do so, however, you may want to discover what browser settings or other software may be hiding HTTP_USER_AGENT or HTTP_REFERER information on your computer. This information being hidden from the other site may be what is not allowing you to enter.

It is strange in a way trying so hard to make this happen.
It feels like somuch self-promotion and I am not really into that, not really,

However, if you are interested in pursuing this,
you may want to try from a different computer.

If you gain access from one that does not have software hiding HTTP_USER_AGENT or HTTP_REFERER information on your computer, then we know that was the difficulty,

Just a thought, not pressuring any thing at all.

Hi David Isaiah,

This is very odd. A few days ago I tried to get to your site via the link in your first posting. No luck, it would go there, load up about half a page, and then it just hung... wouldn't load the rest.

So when you posted the second link, I tried it and found it would go to your page without a problem. Very nice I might add :) I could almost hear the drum beats in the background.

Today I decided to try it again, and like Philanty, both links just redirect me to the ascorbate page. And by the way, both of those just load half way and hang again.

LOL!!! Don't know what it's all about, but hey it's computers and they do sometimes have a mind of their own!

I have now tried on another computer, just for the fun of it, and I still have the same result.

I can get the Vit.C site without any trouble, no half page like you Featherpoint, a troublefree site for me.

But David, your page, no way!

This is all very strange. I will try again. I have had no problems with it in almost five years.

I may post another place where the basics are of my page.
I will look for it and post it later.

The original reason you were having problems at ReikiAloha was that your browser had been disguising your HTTP_REFERER ("referer" or "referrer") information. For most visitors, this just says which website you came from.

So where it should have given nexuscafe.com's bbs as your as your referrer, it instead gave a disguised url, specifically:

XXXX:++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

as your HTTP_REFERER info. I honestly don't know which software or settings might be causing this.

The strict checking for HTTP_REFERER information has been relaxed for now, primarily to allow you in.

An additional complication occurred recently for both you (on the other computer) and featherpoint, at least, while the settings were being changed to relax them. During the transition period, *everyone* visiting ReikiAloha was redirected to www.ascorbate.info - regardless of referrer info or browser settings. This has now been fixed.

With all this complexity, I didn't want to leave David alone to try to explain this. Thus I signed up here today to post these messages.
