- I looked around a bit for stuff on Teviron -

- polyviyl chloride is used in making PVC and other earth unfriendly products

- and, so far I do not see one credible scientic study on Tevion or negative ions

- exerpts from the Economy Daily of Taiwan or some Youth publication called "High-Voltage" can hardly qualify as useful evidence for the claims made for these clothes

- and, I am still expecting to find some reports that wearing clothes made entirely from petroleum products (so not Green at all) are producing adverse skin reactions or worse - and, of course they are not exactly biodegradeable so -

- to Quote, in part: "The environmentalist group Greenpeace has advocated the global phase-out of PVC because they claim dioxin is produced as a byproduct of vinyl chloride manufacture and from incineration of waste PVC in domestic garbage". Further, "Dioxins are a global health threat because they persist in the environment and can travel long distances. At very low levels, near those to which the general population is exposed, dioxins have been linked to immune system suppression, reproductive disorders, a variety of cancers, and endometriosis."

Lots of people are saying the same thing about Reiki. How would you qualify Reiki to non-believers?

- it is not my job to qualify Reiki to anyone

- having said that, Reiki can be experienced directly, hands-on such that folks may judge for themselves (I have not heard\read any such reports about experiencing ions directly but I am certainly willing to hear unsolicited testimonials)

- and, ULE by way of Reiki practices is not toxic nor does Reiki require the production of toxic substances to 'access' ULE or utilize it (as opposed to the producction of polyvinyl chloride, for example, which produces dioxins)

- if people chose not to try the Reiki experience simply because Reiki does not fit their belief system that is their look-out, not mine

- but it makes about as much sense as saying cheese grits are terrible when one has never tried them
