/*\ Namaste All :-}}

- the major Internet search engines, Yahoo.com in particular, have all sorts of useful sites

- simply type in the main (key) words you want and then check out what comes up

- some of the sites have links to other sites as well

>:-}}

- for example, someone asked about reiki for kids

- if you simply type reiki for kids in the search box provided by Yahoo.comm all sorts of results turn up

- good surfing, All

Dear Firekeeper,

Thanks for going to the basics for those of us who are computer challenged!! A friend suggested Google to me & sometimes I can get a result on Google.com that I cant get with other engines.

peace & joy,
holobon

holobon,

/*\ Namaste :-}}

- yes, Google will have listings not found on Yahoo as will Lycos and some others

- for myself, overall Yahoo is by far and a way the most complete of the search engines

- the one I miss from time to time is Infoseek which had some harder-core academic type stuff than the others but appears to have been somewhat subsumed into Go.com

- being more comfortable and capable with Internet searches can be very rewarding when we have questions

- take care,

Hi everyone,

I mainly use Google, but when I am stuck, DOGPILE.COM is good. It is the search engine of search engines. What I mean is that it searches most of the other search engines (incl Google).

Happy surfing!
Blessings
Natalie
