Here's to add to one of the many enlightening post.

The Father in heaven is like on on-looker or spirit in a lighthouse (looks out for everything), a planner, and organizer, land lord (as in Christ: landlord of Earth: at least in the eternal future), a creator, a shepherd, a comforter and many others.
The earth is like a mother that nurtures everything. Mother Earth takes care of everything that grows under her care. The living and non-living things are made up of minerals from earth: the Mother provides all of this.
By making us and everything else out of earth's resources, a connection can exist between everything on earth and the Mother Earth. Nothing naturally made is going to be too "out of the place". Everything on earth has its place.
The breathe of life connects us with the Father and the angels. The essence of the God Head is thus transferred to all living things.
And bingo, we are all connected to both the Father and the mother-earth.
I have come to appreciate these connections and am very likely to fully embrace it.

the connection between the earth, the sky and the sacredness that created, is creating and will continue to manifest is amazing indeed.
