The Reiki Cafe 

A while ago someone had started a 21 day world wide Reiki retreat on the summer and winter solstices where you would spend time each day for 21 days following the Solstice reflecting inward.

I participated in this for a few years and seemed to fall in a pattern where major changes would happen around these times. I also experienced a lot of coincidences happening before the solstice (usually randomly bumping into people I had not seen in a while).

While I really have to been doing the retreat, I have continued to experience change during these times (especially in the winter solstice which is coming up).

Recently, I have also been experiencing a lot of coincidences happening.

Has anyone else had this kind of experience? Do you you find more things happening around the time of the Solstice?

I was talking to my friend this evening about the question of whether this would be the time of the big shift. I had figured it to be last year but we got word it was not that soon. We have not heard about this year, but I am as ready for it as I can be at this time. I like observing the solstices and equinoxes.

I do think such things impact us. For me, it's not so much the solstices, but the equinoxes. I find I have major events happen around those times, even if it's just a major change in myself. As for coincidences, I don't experience them.

Coincidence happening in groups has always been an interesting phenomonon to me. Generally, I take it as a sign that I am on the right path, but that's just my theory.

Hi,

At times of more intense energy (Solstices, Equinoxes, etc) when energy workers who are in tune with these occurrences may also be more mindsful and intentioned, I am not at all surprised when folks report 'more activity'. I would say, however, that coincidence might not be an accurate assessment of the processes described.

I seem to be attuned to equinoxes and some full moons. Sometimes solstices really ring the bell too. Depends if I'm paying attention or not.

If it comes this year, which is friday, take to high ground. Do not fly as air currents will be deadly. If you live at or about 1,000 ft elevation you are ok. There will be winds, floods, volcanoe eruptions. All glaciers will melt so the oceans will rise and move inland everywhere. Be safe.

These may not all occur at once. We were talking about this tonight. I would have time to get to high ground. The volcanoes my erupt right away. I would be able to know friday by whether the sun moves in the sky. If it stays there then I will begin loading up my little truck with my survival gear.
