Is this the time of the big shift?

Otoharo!

The Mayan calendar set this event at Winter Solstice, 2012. Xaris said it would be sooner than that. However, she did not say what year. If it still is set for winter solstice and this is the year for it, then we have nine more days!

I thought I began a thread on this but I could not find it.

Lazaris began sharing about what to expect back in 1980's. You can find his tape by searching on the net. Lazaris said 2% of the population would remain.

Xaris answered our questions during the years we had access to her in our group. Someone asked what would desimate the population so much. She said it would be a cold virus that we do not have an antidote for.

I will sort of list the details as I recall them. Xaris never leads a discussion, she only answers our questions. (This is the rule which HEB's live by in all relationships with humans.) The earth will stop revolving for 72 hours. Then begin revclving in the opposite direction. That means the sun will rise in the west and set in the east. This is the first indication we will have that the shift has begun. When the sun does not move for three days! There will be winds, hurricanes, tornadoes, cyclones. All volcanoes will erupt. The oceans will rise as the glaciers all melt. The elevation we need to be is 1,000 ft. Roads and Rails will be broken, cracked etc. So travel is out of the question. Gasoline will be gone. People will be moving by foot in droves seeking food and clean water. When you encounter them, let them have what you have. Do not defend yourself or your goods. Learn what is edible where you live. Expect to live by foraging in nature.

In the area where I live, the Willapa Hills, will all be islands.

finality,

Hi,

Without a fairly precise definition of "big shift" I would offer that any significant event that occurs within the rather vague time frame you say has been suggested could be claimed as 'the shift'. For myself, that could be equated with charlatanism.

Cheers, (the end of things as we know them at this moment will come when it does; which is actually just the next moment). How much we make of this may help define what amounts to a big (or little) shift).

Dear finality,

I was kindof expecting something to happen in 2012. If something happens in nine days I will be unprepared. It's weird; I was briefly contemplating the dooms day thing just yesterday. Probably because I recently read an article about 30,000 years ago where fossils have been found showing that woolly mammoths got fragged / peppered from North america to siberia by tiny explosive meteorite fragments.

Back to the coincidental thought I was having ; if something does happen I would immediately drop everything and race straight to the bank then food store to spend almost all the money on non perishable food and water.

I disagree about freely giving up one's food so easily in such a scenario. But either way in such a situation one would have to keep their food stocks well hidden. Our supply chain of food-to-grocery store is fast and bustling.

But that transnational, trans global network of infrastructure and trucks that bring our food stuffs to your store is very fragile. If that network (food trucks to store) crashes chaos and panic will come on with blinding speed.

It sounds like you are mentally readying for such a scenario. There are alot of 2012 theories out there. To me the polarity reversal is much more probable than the orit/spin reversal theory for instance. Polarity reversal being way less violent but more energetically profound. And scientifically accepted as a likelier possibility.

Either way you need water and food. You have to hide it , defend it or both or some one else might take your food.

arati,

Hi,

I tend to agree. I doubt there is any reputable evidence to support orbit or spin reversal theories. However, it seems some evidence for magnetic reversals of the Poles has been accumulated from assaying the magnetic properties of rocks and sediments from land and sea beds. However, an actual reversal has never been 'measured', as far as I know, so all the evidence only allows one to interpret that and infer that reversals occurred and at what rate and how often. The time of a potential next reversal or temporary collapse of the magnetic poles has been extrapolated to between 3000-4000 AD.

Is it only me that finds the thought of all this quite frightening, not to mention depressing?

Sometimes ignorance is bliss! 8/

helen,

Hi.

The problem really arises when the folks that put out "information" that upsets others and then come behind themselves with some putative solution to the matter they have 'invented' (a solution that usually means "buy this" or 'vote for me' or vote for this' or 'don't do that'). An example perhaps closer to home here at the Cafe would be those who say that Reiki is the "devil's" work and anyone doing Reiki will go to hell (or similar sort of very provocative nonsense).

Of course, humans are more than capable of creating their own devilry (and maybe making life hellish for others). We don't need any mythical satans to generate evil. We do quite well enough ourselves.

cheers,

RC

Dear Rc,

Yeah that spin rev thing sounds hokey. If it did happen we'd all be pulverized by the same force that put the brakes on the earth's spin. Perhaps some hearty amoebas might be left to enjoy the first western sunrise.

But of all the 2012 I scenarios like the mag rev the best. Enough to shake things up on different levels but with minimal terribleness.

I think I like the Dimensional shift / rapture theory 2nd best (Which could happen with the mag rev some theorize). That would be great to operate in between nearby levels. I would move into the deep wilderness and bunk with some local totem representatives. I could be like an inter totem consultant. With the Great Spirit's nod, I would gather a group of reps from all the totems that sent a rep for the project. As a team we would come up with marketing strategies to help the confused leftover humans to connect with the Mother and their totems and move forward.

Scheduling meetings is going to be a hassle for sure. Try getting a nocturn to shown up for an afternoon meeting; good luck. And if you get one to show up he/she is crabby as all get-out usually. Given the opportunity I'm volunteering for that job nonetheless . For free. Hanging with the totem reps at work, hob-nobbing with the sasquatch tribe in my off time, hitting the woodland nymph hot spots an Sat. nite. Sign me up.

The mag rev thing is in the mainstream for sure. They had a whole PBS/Nova thing about it some time ago.

Hi,

Well, in some respects I am not sure it makes much difference though I do assume you are only the 'messenger' and so I try not to shoot messengers although sometimes the very nature of being a mesenger puts one in the line of fire (an occupational hazzard for messengers I dare say).

However, as always, I do hold each person responsible for how they may react. So, to this extent messages are only distrubing becasue we react to them in that manner. Thus, theoretically, any message might be interpretted as disturbing (or otherwise) by anyone at any given time.

Cheers (if one shifts just slightly perhaps one will not get hit),

:)

arati,

Hi.

Since I doubt humans have ever experienced (and been able to record in a codified manner) the sort of dramatic magnetic reversal that is theorized I would say we have no idea what to expect. Perhaps the idea of dimensional shifting will attain some fruition as a result of a temporary magnetic collapse. Perhaps some people will more directly experience 'other dimensions'. However, some of these 'dimensions may simply be other aspects of themselves not heretofore needed to cope with 'shifts', or whatever.

As for the rest? Fine stuff for video games, play stations or whatever. I doubt the basic physics of the universe will allow for them in other than virtual environments.

Cheers,

RC

Dear Rc,

Tis true. The mag rev thing is a mixed bag of possible theories. One theory holds that at the null point of the reversal all our human memories will be wiped out. That sounds hokey too.

I can understand not buying into the dense body doing any major shifting or trans locating. But if the middle self could travel and channel more surely and lucidly via the subtle bodies, that would be way cool.

Hi RC,

Oh yes I agree.

And I guess I have to take responsibility for my own reaction but the trouble is I have this tendency to employ the ostrich approach to things that take me out of my comfort zone! :)

So if you see a rather large behind sticking out here in the cafe then you'll know it's just rainbow burying her head again! lol

Hi.

Sticking one's head in the sand is a reaction, is it not? Butt, you do take responsibility for that and that is a big step. I mean, how many people foist blame onto others?

Dear helen,

You need not bury your head anymore. I would suggest an over sized eye pillow with an elastic head strap. No more sand on the pillow at night.

Dear Helen,

I would disagree. One can deceive others thusly. What if one had a pet wombat? Wombats are people too Helen.

hi Everyone, enjoyed reading all the various messages concerning 'big shift' when the clever person who worked out the year 2012 as the big one from the Mayan calender I hope they bore in mind that the calender we are working on at the moment is fairly new the length of the year has been amended at least two or three times, last time I think mid 1600s so what was the benchmark for obtaining this date? By the way I live in Thailand and the date is 18th December 2550 hhave I missed it? I have a close friend in UK who is obsessed by the whole 2012 thing and not in a healthy way. I'll take today as it is - today - and do the best I can, I can do nothing about yesterday or tomorrow today is where I am and I am happy here.

Hi, I'm new to the site.

Sounds to me like if this is to happen now or in the future it is nothing to be feared. As far as I was aware the Mayans dissapeared under some strange circumstances and if they have left this message it could be that the 2% to be left on earth may have been left behind rather than having survived. Nothing may happen and if something doea happen I like to think it will be magical rather than frightening.

Peace and Love

Hi.

Maybe the big shift means that in 2012 we will elect a president ( and not a Bush) that will act responsibly vis a vis the rest of the world

michael,

Hi.

I really don't think it is at all that more far fetched than some of the "stuff" we've already heard. In fact..........???? I dare say that we will not elect a Bush!! (which is, I suspect, more than any big shifter can say with any certainty!!) LOL But, to be fair, not having to worry about another Bush in the White House is cause for celebration (unless 'U.S. Mint' Romney gets the Republican nomination). That would not be money I would wish to take to the bank,

Dear RC,

The thing about Bushes is that you have this growth on the surface; the Bush you see. But really it is a facade. It is connected to other growths strong and dark beneath the surface. These controlling tendrils are olde and control the bush. When that bush is tapped out they move their tendrils of control to another bush of similar genus on the surface. It's been going on for hundreds of years.

I'd like to see a bright educated Brazilian woman get a shot at nomination. Brazilian women have been anti-Bush years before we even knew we had a problem up here.
