I find it hard to know what to believe when I listern to/ watch the news.
I don't wish to take sides. And I see the need to do so. Unfortunately, I have to fight my resentments towards certain issues/ people.
I am in constant battle with my mind to stop blaming and having bad wishes for certain "enemies".

I wish to maintain peaceful thoughts and feelings every time I think or hear about wars.
Can I ignore what the truth might be and just wish people can forget their anger. And can I heal anyone blind folded? I guess not.
There are too many thoughts that need to sorted out. Plus am I at war with myself or having smaller conflicts in my life? The more I think on these issues the more issues I have to address in my life. Better to sort myself out first then sort out the world's problems!?
Right now the thought of being more forgiving is coming to mind. That would be a start, do you think?

Any sugguetion as to how to have a balance between compassion and emotion.

According to A Course In Miracles, everything in this world is either an expression of love, or a call for love. When we do something that hurts another, it's because we've forgotten who we truly are - meaning the light and love of which we are made. Therefore, our call for love. It's helpful for me to remember that, especially during such troublesome times.

Dearest Starjasmine,

Unfortunatly it is very difficult to gage any sort of judgement baised on the news at this time since alot of what we hear is propaganda.

The easiest thing to remember is that ultimate truth (if such a truth exists) is not what we think it to be but what it is. When sending Reiki send Reiki for peace, and for truth.

In your own life, act according to your original nature. If you find yourself angery due to someones treatment of you.. express that anger. Then let it go. In terms of being Reiki in that situation ask for clarity and centering.

I am recently understanding the importance of EXPRESSING anger, and being with love, and how if we truely do both these things they are not opposing but the same.

It is only when people express love and be with anger that we find problems.

To all who have helped,
Thank you for sharing. That would mean that we let others know our feelings peacefully and then look forwards to be calm and loving again. i.e. let go of anger quickly.
Please correct any mistake.

I appreciate what I have learnt in uni. I learnt about context and situations. The actual subjects focused on analysing the contents of sentences for its contexts and emphasis. I took some of the knowledge that I have learnt further.
An example would be modality. Modality is useful for keeping tract for how one presents their feelings and attitudes. A person who uses "must" alot may exert alot in life. A person who is unsure or reluctant may use " maybe" frequently.

After realizing the effect of word choice, I did attempt to avoid certain words and choose many words carefully.
