The Reiki Cafe 

For many years I've been practicing dowsing, usually with two copper rods each about one ft.long with a right hand bend one end of about 4inch's. There are many web sites or books to guide you with the correct use of these rods.I find these more sensitive that the traditional cleft willow stick. My main search is for earth energy lines. I dont believe all energy lines are 'Ley' but probably link with them somewhere along the way, rather like our blood vessel system. Moving across the land the rods will cross at the edge of an energy line; keep walking and they will open again; walk further and they once again close. Both 'closures' show the edge's of the energy line and so gives you its width. Mine vary from 18inchs to 2ft. Its also possible to trace the direction the energy flows by holding one rod and crossing the already found energy line. The rod will always swing with the flow - so the rod swinging and pointing to the left shows the direction the energy is flowing to ie. the left. I'm sure anyone can do this and I urge you to try this facinating art. WARNING:- Some energy lines can be negative if they flow across polluted sites such as power stations or Microwave Pilons. Decide whether you want the rods to cross or part if the energy is negative and then walk across your energy line like you did when tracing the direction of flow. On reaching the centre of your energy line the rods will react accordingly. No change positive, crossed or parted negative. NEVER meditate on, or draw polluted energy into yourself from negative energy lines. However standing or sitting in the centre of a positive energy line facing its direction provides an effective way of channeling earth energy into yourself whilst meditating. Use any of your positive visualisation techniques to guide the flow. I breath in and feel it rising up my legs and centre it in the 'Tan Tien' ( naval area where Spiritual energy is stored) As I breath out the enery rises up to the top of my head and down the front of my body through my legs and back to Mother Earth. My body stores only that energy I need. I also use this method to 'Charge my body' just prior to sending distant Reiki. Although Earth Energy is not Reiki iself as we know - it primes me for linking to Spirit.
Does anybody else use earth energy in this way or any other?

Geoff, Thanks for this sharing. Back in the 80's simetime, I went with my neice to her mother's home over an easter or mother's day weekend. MY neice was all gung ho to take her wands to exdplore the energy lines that surround that plateau in New Mexico, Los Alamos. We took snacks and had a grand time. We found markings at the same places that we discerned the energy. These markings were stacks of stones placed there by the indians of this area, in the long past. This was new to both me and her mother.

About ten years ago, we were urged to use wands to tell the state of how we relate. I asked, "How do I relate to ...?" The wands crossed if communication was closed, were parralell if good. We could also ask "How is my energy today?" If opened so wide that they point behind me, it was esspecially open.

They will also tell where I have placed something that I can not find. Here they cross where the hidden thing is.
