The Reiki Cafe 

There is a monster deep inside,
It has 3 eyes, it's green, it's pride,
One day it came and swept me away,
It bumped off two friends all in a day,

Recoiled back into its den,
Until someone else threatens it again,
I want this monster to leave me alone,
There it sits, on it's throne,

Shouts out fears inside my head,
Till anyone I care about is left for dead,
Jealousy is, the monster's name,
And you know what?, I'm tired of it's game,

Now I will let the monster go,
With my angels help & some work I know,
Cause life's to short and friends are few,
To lose them to a jerk like you! Jealousy.

Dedicated to the friends I lost thru jealousy.

I doubt those friends are lost - real friends don't get lost, they just take time out......like everyone, we all react or over react from time to time and they probably understand more than you realize! and forgive and forget too..... ;-)
And sometimes...just writing a poem about such things....well personally, I find it helps ME....
So, hopefully all will be well and you will most importantly forgive and love that J monster who is part of you ......It is something I am certain we all have had to face at some point in life. You are never alone. I have my own one, trust me........and you never know, often the J monster appears when no one really needs his help or input! Just grin and tell him to nick off!
You deserve happiness like each and every one of us.My prayers are for just that for both you and your friends.

borrowing the r of ro, har = God Eminent
So this sentence says, That, I, God Transcendant, God Eminent, and you are all one. Oneness.

hi whitlace..the j monster to me is satan.he is the ultimate master magician.he even tricks humanity into believing he doesn't exist.he is very real.although you cannot see him.he is as real as the invisible atoms in the air..his sole objective is to arouse our disire to receive for self alone..so that we disconnect from the light..he will push our reactive button day and night..when the button is pushed we are full of negative thoughts and selfish impulses..any thought thatis crystal clear..and urges you to react to a situation is satan..hope you don't think i am preaching..just giving my opinion on the j monster...one love...iboman...

Such an interesting bunch on this site. I am loving it. I am unemployed right now so I can spend loads of time on here. It is really great. There isn't much Reiki community where I live. I am working on trying to gather together the few I know together, but they are very much involved in their outer worlds, but I keep on them. Hope one day they will crack. LOL

Appreciate where your at with your belief system, but I don't share it. This is my slant.

I do not believe in Satan per say, I believe the concept of Satan is merely a creation of the ego. Ego being - FEAR - False Evidence Appearing Real.

My jealousy was rooted in my own insecurities (fears, my lower level energies) that arose from within me when someone I percieved to be a threat, seemed to be coming between me and a person I love.

We all have dark and light within, it is the nature of life. You can't have one without the other, but I believe you can have more of one than the other. God has blessed us all with free will. I can choose to follow the light or I can choose to follow the dark. Luckily, I was able to see quite quickly what it was I was creating, and stopped it dead in it's tracks, by revealing my truth in poetry. Poetry has always been a strong medium for me to dispel & heal any darkness that seeks to consume me. My creativity is God's gift to me and I thank God daily for the creative gifts that bless me with healing.

I believe their are higher level energies and lower level energies within people on earth and in the spirit world of other dimensions. Satan is a term that projects the darkness within out there somewhere, when it really lives deep within the dark crevices of the mind.

This is how I see it.

Whitelace, I agree about ego. There is one belief that is not real. Light does exist without dark. Here in this third dememsion, we have created dark in order to see light and be able to choose light, however light exists. Drak is only what we made. Another way to say this is, while we were one with all, there was no darkness. In order to see ourselves, our own light, we separated ourselves from Light. It is only separation that makes dark. Once we were in dark, we also turned around and made ego. So dark is always our own making. Returning to light, we leave the dark and can continue living here Being Light among the dark for a time we set.

It is a complex subject for sure. I hear what your saying but what I can't get my head around is this.

There are spirits in another dimension that have lower level energies I have encountered an experience with my nephew. He was playing with an ouji board when high on drugs and alcohol and didn't follow the protocal to prevent the spirit from escaping the board. The spirit was dark like an huge bat moving around in his room and trying to initimate him into moving out after I gave him a crystal and Reiki 1 for protection. I did an exorcism long distance on this entity in his room and it worked, the spirit has been gone now for 3 months.

My point is that there is darkness in other dimensions of some sort, but perhaps there is a dimension where this does not exist, that is what I would like to believe.

The truth is none of us know for sure, we go by what our feelings tell us, our angels tell us, other people and their experiences tell us. Who really has the anwsers. Only God knows for sure about reality and what it is.

I love to play with ideas,images and intuitions on what reality is but I am a human being, my conceptuality is but a pea compared to the mind of God, which I do believe I am part of, but here on hearth I am definitley limited by my ego.

Perhaps the ego and Satan are one and the same my friend. Both like power, control, lust, greed, and more, more , more... It's all just words, and labels. I believe we are talking about the same thing really, just a little different way of looking at it. Personally I think the ego is so caught up in getting it's needs met that it is to stupid to know that what it is doing will make it fall flat on it's face. LOL

for this post i will call the satan.and the ego the opponent..a powerful and practical technique i use to fight the opponent is.whenever i get a negative thought.i imagin i can see the opponent whispering in my ear.i can then tell it to get lost.i can then try and think positive..when someone does me wrong..i imagin i can see the opponent.whispering in their ear.causing the negative behavior in that person..i see them as a helpless puppet under the influence of the opponent..i find this helps my reactive emotions towards this person... take it easy..one love..iboman..

Well, iboman, we always come from opposite points of view. You see, I know there is no devil nor satan. Jesus exiled satan when he was here. The devil is a thought form that exists only in people's minds. The ego is a function in the intellect. We shuttled so much of our lives onto ego who was not equipped to function in that manner and turn against us with a vingence. Our only enemy is ego, and we made it.
