Maiden running with Wolf

She takes a running leap
Landing astride Grey Wolf, already in full stride
Grips his thick neck fur
Buries her face in its luxury
Flattens, melts her body to his
Mad, crazy flight across the grassy plains
Pounding paws, pounding hearts
Steamy breathe warming the cold night air
Her long dark hair streaming out behind them

Faster … faster still …

Until nothing remains
At One with Consciousness

Thanks for your lovely response!

No special connection with Grey Wolf other than him showing up as Protector in a few healing sessions - I suppose that could be viewed as special LOL.
But then so have so many other animals as well.

Don't know where this came from to be truthful.
It was just an emotion and want that I expressed through colorful words.
Although, I do feel it has deep meaning for me. Like a deep yearning of the soul.
Flight and running seems to be coming up over and over for me, in my poetry and some inner journeys.

Have much more of a feeling for Lioness.
