The Reiki Cafe 

This is the first song I ever wrote and composed about 5 years ago. It came to me after my first Summerfolk Festival as a single divorcee. The festival inspired me so much. I had just bought a new guitar and didn't even know any chords, but this song was in my head walking home from the folk festival. I sang the chorus all the way home so I wouldn't forget it. Then when I got home I wrote out the rest and put it on a tape recorder so I could compose it when I learned to play my guitar. I remember thinking who the hell do you think you are writing and composing a song before you even know how to play the damn instrument. I used to be so hard on artist. Now I love her to pieces. She's cool!
