On a full moon Betane Evening,
The crone danced around the fire
Naked except for her pentagram,
shining, so silver, in the moonlight.
Her wrinkled body beautiful, like an old tree trunk
showing the wisdom of her years, like rings.
And as she danced the energy came up from the Earth,
and wrapped around her like a spiral,
And as she danced the moonlight came down from above,
wrapping her in its gleaming aura.
She was at once air, fire, water, and Earth
Her magic she weaved for her own self, only,
So be it.
Dancing at the fire,
In the Beltane moonlight.

For those in the southern half - it is time to celebrate Imbolc - so dance around the fire and have a pint to keep warm.

then again - anytime you have the chance to dance naked in the moonlight go for it. Me, I'll be at the hot springs in Childs...skinny dipping in the river and the hot springs (unless a ranger shows up)...maybe a little dancing back at our campsite, some howling at the moon, who knows..just looking forward to getting out of the city
