Finally started back writing my children's book.....was sitting outside just trying to get something on paper. I was thinking it would have to be rewritten, but I would at least get the first draft of one section done. Did not notice it when it happened, but when I was done with my day's goal, I noticed a big purple splat of bird poop right on my papers! Hmmm. I agreed. Needs revision.

Dear Feather,
During an elementary school trip to the UN, a seagull pooped on my head. I often wonder if thats where the trouble started!! HeHeHe.
Great sense of humour, kiddo. :)
peace & joy,

feather,
Hi.
So, how do you know that was not just a seal of approval?
LOL
Cheers (something more tastey on top for me)

Otoharo!
feather, congratulations on getting back to your creativity. As for the poop, I repeat what I have said on another board, things happen. Only we, not nature, assign a reason.

It did not bark or flap, so I don't think it was a seal!

Hey lovely Feather!
I've heard that bird poop is good luck!
Maybe you were getting a little luck from your winged friends..
Hey Holobon,
When I went to Atlantic City as a child I was feeding the gulls when they pooped on my little purple jacket from my dance troup. ( Lions Club Bladettes)
Wiped it off and was promptly pooped on again.
Must have been why we were chosen to dance that summer on the pier.. lol
Good luck or not, I've not fed those turkeys since..No body poops on Suzie and gets fed again!
Love, Light and Laughter,
Jahnavi

I enjoyed a chuckle at these little tales.... obviously our avian friends are global in their humor, as are we in our reactions to them and their bodily functions (and their AIM!)
Over here, we say it is lucky when a bird poops on you.......lucky that cows don't fly!!!!
cheers and smiles....
oh yes, the answer to this fallout...
remember
that particular bird...?
and
DUCK!!!!
