I had an interesting encounter with a shop keeper. There was a post about book writers, this is about shoe markers.
The shop maker preferred people to look trendy. (oh there must be many resons behind this) I like classic design and prefered sometimes a lot simplier and yet elegent.. too back I'm not in fashion! I like to wear whatever I think are well made design and modest looking....
I felt that since that is how the shoe marker felt so I went for slightly more trendy shoes. But truely, I don't see why I cannot just chose what fits me. I wanted an old version to be altered and since the marker was not up to it, I let go... sigh
I don't think I will speak the word "out of date" too often after this!
I think that opinions are mainly meant for risk takers and not "just for looks". An example: participating in dangerous activities vs decorating a room (where practicality etc are needed to be considered). We can decorate such that creativities are not unreasonably practiced... I am certain we would make sure safety is always number 1.
So are those shoes which have high rates of falling down!!
