This is my third try! My computer is acting up again.

I realized today the all my piano experience prior to composing, was accompanying a soloist, choir, or congregation. Mostly hymns. that is the music that I automatically was writting until someone complained.

that stumped me becasue I could not find how to write piano. I listened to mozart for days and days. Finally got to Beethoven He is the one who wrote Moonlight Sonato. I realized this week, that that is me. Fianlly today I got out the last finished song I wrote, and reworked it. Same melody, but no longer a song! Boy what a wonder to me. I finally caught on!

Hello dear Finality....
what a wonderful feeling to break through from something that held us back. My ways are different but I relate to the same thing.
It is just a shame we cannot play your music on this site.....we only read the words and wonder at the melody. How little we really do know of each other.
guess there are so many dimensions of each of us that cannot be experienced fully across an internet forum, where only words step out across a flat page......
yet the connections still grow. Is that called "faith"? or belief? Or just the bond that is our humanity?
Long live the music, may it continue to flow through you, and therefore, through us all.

Wendy, so glad you hear from you! Yes, I, too, can relate to what others share from their creative medium. It is the creativity which communicates, isn't it?

Last night, I played around with music I have already written, and found that combining three together with leadins, created more the music I desire to have. Another break through. If I can do that with 21, becoing seven, then I can go back through three years of work and probably result in more of what i wanted in the first place!

i understand the thrill you feel.....i find i do the same with my art....by combining two or three elements (often the most unlikely) the results are profound.
may your creativity multiply!
(I sometimes believe that Spirit has a hand in what we are drawn to place together to create something new and sublime....)

dear sunshiine....I just went to your....ahhhhh....profile page....and the drawing there is absolutely magnificent. Took my breath away. I know I'll be returning to get lost in it, again. Thank you for such beauty and for sharing it. A horsewoman, a mama, an artist & poet....so many facets...you must shine! I agree with you that I wish we could "see" more, hear more, know more, of each other....especially the music!
