Namaste All.

I need a little advice re protecting myself.

I am not always great at visualising pure white light around myself....seem to get every colour but :)))

Is it enough to set the intent that you be surrounded by pure white light and also asking Reiki Guides and Angels for their protection? or are there other techniques that I might try?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

I would like to share a Reiki technique which I learnt from a Reiki master in India,which I find very powerful.
It is known as the "Divine Reiki Light".
Start off meditating on Reiki for a couple of minutes,asking Reiki to flow.When you feel the energy flowing through you,request Reiki,"Reiki,please send me the divine Reiki light".Visualise a beautiful light coming from above,entering your crown chakra,passing through the third eye,your throat chakra,moving to your heart chakra and then
settling in your heart chakra.Do not give this light a particular color.Be open to any color that comes to you.
From the light that has settled in your heart chakra,visualize two beams of light coming out and forming into the shape of a cone right in front of you.Make this cone approximately 2ft to 3ft in diameter.
Imagine yourself within this cone,lift your hands and request reiki to flow from your hands to the situation inside the cone.You may also send the symbols,if you desire.
Continue to do this for sometime and then thank Reiki for healing the situation.Finally request the light"Divine Reiki light,please go back to Reiki."Since the light is sent by Reiki,it must be sent back to Reiki.
The Divine Reiki light is effective for 6hrs,after which it automatically disconnects itself from the situation and goes back to Reiki.Hence,you can either close the situation ,after sometime or leave it for 6hrs to do it's work and later close it.
If you put yourself in the Divine Reiki Light and request protection,it forms a shield around you and offers tremendous protection.
I have found this technique one of the most powerful techniques that I have worked with,not only for protection,
but other methods as well.

Great question, one I was discussing with a friend yesterday.....I have never doubted that God/guides and Angels are with me; and the protection of all that goodness is impenetrable.

Not as beautiful as the meditation Samudra gave, but very effective... Visualize your own angel wings wrapping around you. You have them, you know, as do we all.

the more you practice visualizing your gaurdian angels,in prayer, meditation or Reiki, the more easily you will see them when you need to call on them. Before I was exposed to Reiki I began to see in my mind, my gaurdian angel by my side or behind me,finally I began to see him standing behind me with wings open, enfolding me into him & protecting me..you can laugh at this one..when I had an 11 year old car that was ready to die & I was driving 3 hrs daily to work & back, I would visualize the angel on the hood of my car, wings open, holding the car together !! Im not sure that he appreciated that one but it worked!! I had a broken part once that the mechanic could not believe stayed together until I got to the repair shop, he told me I never could have made it there without a miracle !! Another image I use is that of covering myself with a blanket..the blanket is made of the healing pulsing energy of Gods love & light..mine is white but it could be any color, the key is the protection of God wrapped around you, the impenetrable force of love ..hope this helps..

Hello,
I got this from the reikilinks board some months back and it is a wonderful form of
protection if you feel the need.As per usual, I was poking around for things that interested
me and I really liked this one. I showed it to my RM at my monthly meditation and it was neat
when I showed her how to protect herself and I swirled my hand above my head she said,
" wow it was really neat seeing you do that in front of me because I could see the energy
flowing out from your finger and down around you."

As you prepare to give energy to your self, your client, your issue, your country, your
Earth use your pointer finger to draw a circle above & around your head and then bring
Your finger down to touch the physical surface. The physical surface can be the chair
Your client is sitting on or the ground you are standing on etc. What this does is create
An energy field filled with the intention of Lightwork and in lightwork there is no room
For negativity. Very simple huh!

I have thoroughly tested this technique over a period of some weeks and have not
experienced any backwash from any hana that has been done. It is so incredibly simple
and so incredibly powerful. Just draw your circle and touch the physical/earth. I have
also tested this technique over my house and also over a city block (by envisioning the
circle being drawn very wide) before doing some energy hana and have had no
backwash. Hopefully there will be Reiki practitioners drawing sacred circles all over the world
soon because you'll tell every one of your associates and the technique will grow in
popularity. For those of us who have been on the pathway of transmuting negative
energy in the past this is a very welcome gift. I thank Willaru Huyata for his gift in
