Wow. I'm so excited for you!!! What you're experiencing is so exciting!!!
What I think of when I read this is . . . . how Reiki itself knows where and when and how much it's needed by the various people around those it's channeled through, like you.
It sounds to me like you're going to be very successful in channeling Reiki and helping those in need.
[does anyone know why i feel the sensations around people in everyday life. and when i feel the intense tingling whilst giving a treatment is that pointing out where their is an inbalence in the body, i dont know how to explain it when it happens, and the person asks why they feel certain things]
Couple things about that . . . .
1) Reiki will respond to your respectful wishes *somewhat, and if becoming a Reiki Sensing Beacon is a problem (I don't know that it is, but if it becomes so), you can request silently to Reiki to limit it's range of diagnostic power. I've found Reiki to be remarkable responsive when addressed thoughtful about an issue. Being able to sense other people's problems isn't necessarily bad, but socially, knowing people might need help of certain types could be awkward if there's no elegant way of telling them about it. "Hi, you don't know me, but my hands tell me your ears need Reiki . . ." lol. That sort of thing. And it leaves you with the moral delema of having information about them that you have to decided if you want to tell them about. On the other hand, that could be a boon if you're good with people, and such specific unrequested information could convince them to take sessions from you because they DO have problems with their ears. lol
2)Could you tell me/us what your diagnostic powers/sensations were BEFORE you started sensing things around you? And also, how long/what level are you in Reiki. I don't ask this for ego reasons, rather that when I first started Reiki, the energy was much more . . . erratic and powerful than it became in later years, when it smoothed out and became more intigrated into my person/personality. The idea is that, if you were recently trained, this broadcast sensing may just be a phase of development.
As an extension of this, although my diagnostic reality with Reiki has been pretty much the same througout my career (baring the first few days when it was erratic), I do know several people who have had their daignostic ability and the sensations they experience as channels shift in their life at various times (esp after further attunments and levels), and the reason for this is not exactly clear, except that as we evolve in life, so to, probably, does Reiki.
3) As for why you're feeling people around you, well Reiki turns on with need and intention. People have many levels of "presence" beyond just the physical body, and your Reiki hands may be turning on once you enter the circumfrence of their aura/subtle personality. That you weren't aware of this before but are now may simple be a sign from Reiki that you're ready to start using Reiki more actively on others, and whatever personal growth was needed to get to that point is done.
4)Tingling is very much a diagnostic indication of the energy working its magic, and as the saying goes, "Follow your hands". If you're on one part of the body and feel tingling sensations leading you to somewhere else, then follow it. As I'm sure you know, we all experience Reiki slightly differently, and tingling is one of many possible expressions of it.
5)I would encourage you to not look at the areas of tingling as "The place where the imbalance lies", but rather, "The place where the energy is needed and where it is making the biggest changes right now". Because peoples bodies are very integrated and the organ systems all interconnect, you may have someone come in who has a history of heart trouble, and yet the places on the body that draw the most energy in the first few sessions might be the pancreous and the reproductive organs, not the heart. Does that mean the heart doesn't need help? no, but at the time, the energy is most able to work on these other organs, and perhaps with treatment of the whole body, the heart area may be ready for change. So, I am saying do not assume, simply follow your hands and see what transpires over the course of treatments.
Hope you have more cool experiences,
Colin
