A bit of advice, please?

Hi guys,
I am working with a gentleman now every two weeks. I have worked on him 5 times now with very nice progress. He has been suffering with much fear and physical problems due to this for 3 years.

I was told that the amount of times you work on a person should correspond to how long they have been suffering. As I am horrible with numbers I was wondering what an average amount of time should be with this gentleman? He is a great guy and getting such benefit from the reiki. we are at a point now that we have cleaned out all the surface gunk and can now pinpoint certain troublespots. My guides are now stepping in to help with these spots, Amazing really!

Thanks much,
Tracey

Hi Tracey
The thing is in my opinion is that you can not be sure how long the problems has been with him. Ok the effects manifested 3 years ago, but the cause/root may be a lot deeper and older.
So keep working on him all of the time he feels he is recieveing benifit from the sessions, then perhaps keep him topped up on a less reguler basis.

Thank you, I figure I will work with him as long as He is willing. I am just so happy to see improvement from visit to visit.

Hmm never heard anything about a number of sessions with people. I would say just work with them as long as he recieves benefit or one of the two of you no longer wishes to continue.

Hi Tracey,

I agree with what has already been said.

I would follow my intuition and just go with the flow. I think that when he feels that he doesn't need to come anymore then that will be the natural end. It seems a shame to put limits or a time frame on it. I think that both you and he will just 'know' when he is better.

Gentle Blessings

Tracey,

/*\ Namaste :-}}

- one view would suggest that such matters of suffering are largely Karmic in nature - thus time, as we measure it at least, is really of little relevance

>:-}}

- the energy knows nothing of time as well

- if he is willing to continue and benefits then that is quite reinforcing for both of you, I would say

- remember, too, that healing plateaus may be reached when, from time to time, more or longer sessions may not "produce" identifieable results as the recipient may have hit this plateau in utilizing the energy for healing

- so if this occurs it is not "your fault", so to speak

I was taught by my RM that when giving reiki to aliments. To give reiki four times in a row. Once each day for four days. This is suppose to clear out all the gargbage that is on the surface so you can get to the problem easier. I was also taught to make it stronger to draw the power symbol before and after the treatment.
