Hiya Everyone

In February 2004, I was distant attuned (free) to Reiki Master by Master Martin Lee from Reiki Secrets. At the time I could not afford to buy the master manual or certificate. Then yesterday I recieved an e-mail from him saying that I could now download the Master manual and certificate for free, and if I was interested he would send me the link. I said I was, so he e-mailed me back. I got the certificate okay, but there was no link to the actual manual, just loads of coded text. I have e-mailed him back about the problem but have heard nothing back from him.

I was just wondering if anyone here does have the Reiki Master Manual from Reiki Secrets and if they do, would they mind sharing? Or if anyone here has had the same e-mail from Master Lee and also encounted the same problem?

Don't have a knowledge of the manual but I was wondering what your experience was with a distance Master attunment? Mine was in person and so profound. I don't know how I would have reacted if I did not have the support of my teacher right there to ground me.

Also, am I understanding that this person did a Master attunment but did not "instruct" you on the use of symbols, crystals, grids, psychic surgery, etc.? If so, this troubling to me as I believe (strictly my 2 cents here) that you truly need the guidance of a teacher for this hands on. Especially the psychic surgery.

If you cannot get the manual you speak of then you can purchase the Rand manual on line if you fax your certificate. I would find another Master/Teacher to give the hands on you need. I could be wrong so please feel free to clarify if I have misunderstood your attunement.

Keep in min that some of the things you mentioned are nice additions but are not Traditional Reiki. And I would think them uneccessary. My understanding is that most of the more traditional Reiki Master workshops just include the symbols and attunements and lessons on how to teach and establish a legal Reiki practice. I do find it odd that the manual and certificate were not given with the attunement.

I recieved my master attunement distance as well. I had had discussions with the person via e-mail about Reiki in general. So she felt confident enough to give me my attunement. She just happened to be in the middle of moving at the time and wanted to help me out as i did not have the money to attend the workshop with my original teacher. In my case, I would likely never have recieved my Reiki 3 at all if it wasn't for this teacher wishing to help me. I had access to the symbols and to a method of attunement already , though she did share her own personal method with me.

My understanding is that the more book based teaching is less with Reiki 3 than the other two attunements. The rest that one needs to learn is going to be more from experience and personal growth.

As far as the attunement. I would say it was a mild , yet still powerful experience for me. I have no doubt that it did the trick. I was mentally open for anything and ready to just go with the flow for anything that came up. I think this willingness to let it do it's thing and not overcomplicate the experience helped in my being able to handle whatever came my way.

I have read your posting, and also the replies from Conflagration and Dakota.

Congratulations on your Master Attunement last year, and I hope you are finding it of help with your Reiki healing. After a year, you will probably be wondering what next?

If at some stage you are thinking of passing attunements to others, I really feel you may find it extremely beneficial to first have a hands-on Reiki attunement and teaching from a Reiki Master with whom you can stay in touch. It is not strictly necessary to have the ability to understand psychic surgery or set up Crystal Grids, in order to be a Reiki Master, but it is very interesting to learn these things, and it does enable you to answer questions from your own experience, should you decide to teach, and be asked questions by your own students.

Regarding the downloading of the manual from the Master who gave you your distant attunement, the difficulty may just be a simple case of your computer being differently set up to his, and therefore the text not arriving as it should. Do try to contact him again.

Hiya Everyone

To be perfectly honest, I only took this attunement with a pince of salt. I could not afford the manual at the time and did not know I had to buy it, till after the attunement. So because I had no idea what to do, I searched out another Reiki master and last week I started training for Reiki Master with a live teacher.

I was just hoping that I would be able to recieve this manual from Master Lee and did wonder if anyone out there has being attuned by him and got the Master Manual from him?

As far as any experiences with this person, I have none.
