Hi Gavstar,
Nice to meet you & welcome to the Cafe. Find a comfy chair , choose your beverage and settle in for a good time!! The waiters may be a bit slow from time to time but the company makes up for it!
Glad to see new people posting!
peace & joy,

Welcome!
Don't order the fried newt eggs!
I hear the haggas is good, but I have never tried it.
I hear they make you eat the fried newt eggs if you mention a website and forget to put it under "resources" or "announcements". Other than that, have fun!
Hugs,
Feather

Feather,
Gabhaim pardun agat.
The HAGGIS is superb, a wonderful wee beastie that leaps into the pot of it's own accord and even peels, cooks and mashes it's own neeps and tatties as accompaniments. Sadly, it has not yet learned how to make the uisce beatha.
Bagl, bagl, bagl
Oh, and to gavstar,
Cead mille failte
I think you will enjoy the ride!
Oiche mhaith agus beannacht leat.

- as with most ingestibles just take care to be sure of your haggis monger (or make some yourself); or go to Borgie Lodge (Scotland) and have a go at Jaqui MacGregor's Dornoch Haggis
>:-}}....
- as for fried newt eggs? a rasher of snipe 'bacon' might be a tasty side (tomatoes, black pudding as well, of course)
- and it is complete rumor and mis-information that mis-placed ads result in forced dining (we rarely even condone eating crow)
bagl
- it is much easier to just delete (or move) the offending material

"hmmmm - ah yes! Keep your sense of humor"
Dear Gavstar,
I've got some history here and I'd say that is the best newbie advice I've heard. Keep that in pocket and you'll have a great adventure. I can see they're already going on about the haggis and tempori newt and such. Pay no mind to it. They may be eccentric (wouldn't have it any other way) but they are really good people.
Be sure to try some java from the big crystal expresso manchine. The best. I'm a strong and hot latte man myself. The half and half comes from a cow that lounges on a silk bovine dias most of the day while being fed exotic grasses and nuts by trained but not endentured spider monkeys. Depending on the flavor of the week. Last week she was on the Chai diet which is my favorite. Next week is pumkin and clove, you came just at the right time.
Namaste,
Michael

Howdo Michael,
heheheheheheheheh (mad cackle, eyes swivel furiously)
Prefer a good strong cup of espresso myself or even better, a pint pot o'tea, the colour and consistency of liquid mud.
rofl.
What I want to know is, who cleans up what comes out of t'other end of the cow?
It certainly isn't them monkeys!!

Got a few minutes before I go to work sweepin' t' looms at t' mill, so I'll put me cloth cap and clogs on and I'm off to t' slag-heap at t'bottom of our garden to practice me skiing. Its a good life up here in t' Grim North.
rofl.
Toodle-pip for now,
Beannacht leat!

Dear Brian,
To answer your feculant query; she goes in the big out house. BTW she would be very upset if she knew we were discussing this personal topic so I'd keep it on the low.
; )
