The Reiki Cafe 

I was hoping to get some great debate going here with my reiki colleagues around the world but it seems that as an outsider and one with some strong views I am to be muzzled so I wish you all the greatest love and deep respect......

Dear Gavstar,

You are not an outsider...and are welcome to stay as long as you wish. Just be aware that your strong views may be met with just as strong opposing views. And this is where the learning and growing takes place, no?? If, however, you are looking for a group of people to accept what you call "fact" simply because you say it is so...we are undoubtedly not that group! :-)

My journey has taught me to respect the truths of all people because it is their path to believe what they believe. I see no purpose served in trying to make others accept my truth, because each must learn for themselves. Isn't this the core of any spiritual journey?

Do we ever! I can remember some real bun fights at this cafe. Made for entertaining and thought provoking reading.
I for one, would prefer for more lively debate, of course still with respecting each other.

don't leave, I for one have really enjoyed your discussions,as have many others, we all 'HAVE' to all be that bit different in our ways of thinking & learning,that's what makes us, us... I truly believe no one is 100% right, or 100% wrong,we have all had different masters teach us, some masters are sometimes wrong so it's very healthy to discuss the Reiki ways with others, I have learn't a lot, a lot I don't agree with, but a lot I do....if you can make sense outa that hmmmmm...
not ONE person on this board can say with all honesty that 'THEIR' way is right!, & your views are 'WRONG'!

Thanks for that wamps.......as I said it is not my intention to insult tohers and I am truly sorry if people take it that way but lets agree ot stand up and be counted for our views for it has been proven during history that the minorty on one day is the majority tomorrow.

I would like to thank all of you who have sent me emails today ....glad to have spiced things up for a bit here but I shall watch from a distance for a bit and see how the weather holds

I like to think that, here at this sight we all think outside the box.. That thire are no right or wrong answer that we are only channels for Reiki to flow through.
If we pose a question or answer, that we can agree to disagree and go on with what we are here for, To enjoy the company of our Reiki family and learn from each other.

Bless your heart. I know how you feel as it is sometimes hard to digest the gift others are giving you when their words have a jagged edge to them. This is just the way some are at times.
Remember most of all that there is a learning edge to what you are learning about yourself right now. You can eitehr internalize this stuff or you can see yourself a bit more defined, a bit more clearer. Is this stuff really you? Or are there some wounded healers here who use their words to manipulate and hurt? Words here should always be about healing. Because anything coming from the highest levels is the highest words, words that inspire and uplift.
Words that are teaching tough lessons need not sting if the person truly is coming from love.

Rememeber lastly that only hurt people hurt others. Perhaps a little compassion flowin out towards those whom you feel have been offending most harshly.

Lastly, lastly my brother, please remember you are loved. None of these harsh words nor lessens means a bit if you are not taking this in and gathering your strength and courage from them.
You are blessed and you are the blessing. Remember that in all instances you are the one being called upon to show you you really are.. Shine little brother and be the Love you truly are..

I agree Wendy. someone told me when I disagreed with their way that "I didn't own reiki". That comment gave me food for thought.

Wow?! The last time I checked in was during your red carpet greeting. I'm wondering what happened in the interim. Somethings transpired it seems but I have no clue as to what.

I have no preconcieved knowlege of the interactions as I've not been reading the posts.
I'm thinking back to when I first rolled onto the Reiki Cafe scene. I remember sending Firekeeper a terse email about posting one day stating my agitated displeasure at being edited/deleted. In that case it turned out to be big misunderstanding. In long view retrospect I realized that I was over sensitive and unsure about many things Reiki and many other new concepts. Since then I've covered huge ground and learned/experienced so much. I'm still unsure about many things Reiki and many other new concepts.
