The Reiki Cafe 

Hi everyone,
I would like to hear the experiences of others in the area. I am starting to get messages from angels or my spirit guides especially when I do energy work. I don't actually hear these messages I get the information in the form of thoughts and ideas. I would really like to start getting direct guidance and visions so that I can pass on important information on clients health and wellbeing. Does anyone else have similar experiences or suggestions on how I can sharpen this skill. Would love to hear any suggestions or input.

I am come to the realization that each person gets his/her own messages from spirit. We do not need to have messages for someone else, only for ourselves. that is my opinion.

Oh yeah! I get messages all the time when working on somone! However, it varies on the amount of information that comes through. I usually pick up on big life changes coming up, and even vacation trips! There has been the occasional past life to report. I have also been picking up on relatives that have passed over who just wanted to let the person know that they are around and okay.

This psychic occurrance just happened and there is no way to develop it further except to practice on other people often and go with the flow. I think just going with the flow will build up your skills.

I seem to get my messages the same way you do, at times I may see images while giving reiki or meditating. Maybe you could ask Reiki for images. If you don't get them maybe your information is being given the way spirit intends it to be received.

Thank you everyone for your input. I am very excited to know that with more use of Reiki it will help me become a clearer more centred being. That is what will allow me to be more open to receiving guidence and messages. I am happy to know that others also get this inner guidance and use it for the greater good of others and themselves.

I would say the first thing to be sure of is that these are not thoughts and ideas that are being unlocked from your own Mind's Vault

:)

Then I would also be sure to ask each client, in advance, if he\she wishes to hear "information" from 'guides', or whatever.

In this country people sue at the drop of a hat and in some States awards are given pretty freely and in exhorbitant sums when juries perceive harm has been done. So, unless you are also a physician I would be very careful about giving your impressions of health issues.

I do not know the law in the UK related to these matters.

Try placing your fingers on your brow chakra and saying things like.

I am open and intuitive
I am receiving clear guidance from my higherself
I am a clear channel for Light

Any others you can think of as you touch your brow point would be wonderful. You can tape them to your fridge or your bathroom mirror and repeat them. This is a very powerful way to clear and align your intention with your intuition..

What a great idea. I use lots of affirmations and would never have thought to say them while I touch my brow (third eye). Thank you and I will let you know how it works out.

We are not as litegous as you are in the USA, Yet.

I was taught that you never diagnose. I teach the same.
It is unethical and probally illegal to do so as well even if you are saying that the message came from spirit (can't see that argument holding up in court either LOL)
