Hey everyone,
I was giving my mom healing last night on her sore shoulder when my little Great Niece who is almost two came over and crawled up on the couch next to me, leaned over and placed her hands on my moms other shoulder.. It was unbelievable!
It was so darned cute too.
Talk about making someones heart smile.
I sure wish I had a camera to take a picture of our newest little family member/healer girl doing Reiki for the first time.
Blessings and Great Big Smiles,
J

Kinda cool?....thats very cool. BUT I have a good example too. My weee daughter who is 4 asked me to come into her bedroom this evening after I had settled her...she reached out to me and drew a rough version of cho ku rei....and then said Daddy can you "rake" me with Choku-Ray...
I did'nt know she had picked this up from me but what a great student in the making dont you think

Not quite the same thing but...
One time when I was sick with the flu, one of my cats I'm sure was trying to heal me. She lay as close as she could to me, and would not leave me even when I tossed and turned. When I was up and around and better, she went on her merry way.
Blessings,
Roxy

hi Roxy,& all,
I 'love' animals,
I had 2 cats at one time, but they have passed over,..but not far away from me, last week I was feeling very down & sick, that night 'I felt' them, "playing the piano", as we say, (you know kneading dough) on my feet & purring, I knew it was (Sparky & Smokey) that's their names, they hated each other, & sparky was the 'TOP' cat, but that night they were friends!!! WONDERFUL, & so comforting to feel them..
love all your 'precious' moments, life's great eh....
luv yers Wendy Ann xxx

That is great! Another healer in the family and Auntie is such a great teacher!
I belive that when children see us using any healing modality we are doing our part in changing the way things may be done in the future. Children see there is an alternative way.
When my kids get hurt I place a bandaid or whatever needs immediate attention then slow them down and do reiki on the effective part. They are amazed when a little burn or cut doesn't hurt anymore.
Hugs,
Tracey

I have seen this with my Mom in-law's cat. Jenny would lay on her and not move for as long as Sandy needed. She passed on a few months ago but when I work on Sandy Jenny is there lying on her just as before. Althouhg she left due to old age, she came back to continue to help sandy thru her cancer.

Awesome. Sounds like you have an crystal child within your midst. I am sure she is a joy and filled with light and love, she will probably teach you and many others great things over her life time. What a blessing.

My dear wee girl is the most spirtual little thing ....she has that lovely innocence still and whilst I want her to go and experience everyhthing in life I am teaching her all that I can until she is ready for reiki if thats the path she chooses...any advice on when someone is ready for reiki one...I am talking about age of course? She is now only 4 (and 3/4 Daddy as she keeps reminding me)

Similar experience w/ my then-2-yr.-old nephew when I was sending energy into my father (for his pancreatic cancer condition). My nephew watched us for a minute or so, then walked over to us and placed his hands on his grandfather. The next time I worked on Dad, my nephew _ran_ up and placed his hands on him. It was cute. (Although when my sister asked Dad whether his grandson's touch helped, he said no. Oh, well.)
