Hi can any of you kind people advise me.I have someone who i work with off at the moment with severe depression so much so she wont speak on the phone and doesnt want to see any of her work friends in the state shes in.I cant send Reiki as I havent got her permission but did go round with flowers and a note and her husband answered the door. She has gone on St Johns wort but they didnt help me much but i know everyone is different.I know she believes in Reiki and has great interest in trying anything natural as far as possible.I have suffered myself for years with it so i can understand her totally i just want to help. Can anyone recommend any crystals and or aromotherapy oils i can buy her to use in a oil burner also i think with time she may acsept Reiki from me.I just hate people feeling so desperate she has a wonderful understanding family. If anyone can help me i would be so grateful.
Warm Blessings to you all

Any cheering oil, preferrabley essential oils should be used, like lemon, orange helps with depression. I would Reiki the oils personally. Geranium is good for the logical side of the mind and helps for instance with studying so this might help her also to awaken this side of the brain verses using only the emotional side.

A clear crystal would help, nothing fancy and I would Reiki this also before I give it to her. No intentions, just hold it and energize the gifts.

Aroma oils smell good but have no healing properties unlike quality essential oils that do.

Look in a metaphysical type store or one might try a health food store. Some bed and bath type stores now carry decent essential oils.

I would also suggest to her to try to read, organize her closets or drawers as this seems to help one get their logical brain side working again. It worked for me in the past. It does not hurt to see a doctor also and get some therapy if needed.

Blessings,

Donna

inca,

Hi,

How long was she taking St. John's Wort? Often, those sorts of herbals take up to two weeks or longer to start to bring relief and also are not really meant for severe depressions. IF this is a recurring, significant depression then professional help seems in order.

Cheers,

RC

hi Inca,
sometimes script: medications have some horrible side effects, that take a while to settle,if they are strong ones they would make her sound (& feel awful,) but she will pick up, give her another week or two, if she still sounds the same, maybe they are the wrong ones for her!..there are so many out there to try...
my RM would give the 'clear Crystal' to Friends that were 'down' he would program them , so that when they were in the same room with that person it would give them a lift... you can place messages in 'all' things, even flowers & letters.....wonderful eh!..
she is very blessed to have you as a friend, so I know she will be fine..
luv, Wendy xxx

inca,

Hi,

I do not know the age of this person but some years ago there was a clinical diagnosis for stuff like this called (if memory serves correctly): Reaction to Adult Life. It was a sort of grad bag diagnosis for anxiety and depression cases where there were no classical patterns of thoughts and feelings (or precipitating events) that allowed a more specific differential diagnosis. My sense of some of these cases was that they were more what used to be called "existential crises".

If you can get her permission for Reiki then I would say focusing work at Tanden woul dbe a place to start.

Cheers,

RC

Thank you Wendy for all your advice and kind words.I know she will get better and I know in time when she is ready to face the world she will want Reiki.I have another question ,I have received Reiki from three different people and only with one of them did I have to go on my front as well as my back is it a must to get the person to turn over?

RC,

Reaction to Adult Life? I can live with that. :-)

Stresses of life today, especially if you have kids or any health problems can be overwhelming.

It seems it takes two people to keep up with all the demands of one life anymore and that is providing things are running rather smoothly.

:-)
