There is a young man at work that has this
stress syndrome. Can you tell me (since I'm just starting
to study the chakras) which Chakra would be related to this.? Have any of you tried to heal this, and if so what
were your results?

thank you so much!

angelsaround,

/*\ Namaste :-}}

- the precipitaing trauma is important to some degree - though true PTSD has commonalities across various traumatic precipitants

- the drgree od "stress" may vary, though and this is not always correlated to the severity of the trauma - but often to the "perceived" severity of a trauma.

- sometimes a trauma that might seem 'minor" to one person will be reactd to quite stronngly by someone else

- as for Chakras? Some of this will depend on the psychological and emotional tone and "color" of the person's reaction

- so, more details are necessary

- one does not simply go mucking about the Chakras hoping for some good ressults

- Reiki-wise?? For starters, try focusing some Reiki work at Tanden, Heart Centre, and base of the skull

- with permissions first, of course.

- hope this helps

this can be a sticky one

I don't believe that there is a specific chakra that can be treated to alieve this condition

trust that the energy has a consciousness of it's own and will go wehre it is needed

depending upon where the trauma came from (or percieved trauma) may be important to discover as it may relate to specific chakra or combination of chakra

um... it's been my experience in working with gulf war energies...that

well let me just say the obvious first and get it out of the way....we, each of us, are responsible for our own healing and receptiveness is a key element in any healing

okay...
so treating symptoms can be a relief to some albeit temporary and sometimes that is all we can offer

treating ones karma or more basal energies when relating to physically manifested states of imbalance has been key to any kind of success

however I have struggled with this for years with some people due in part (imho) to their attatchment to their disease state specifically with gulf war
it becomes sort of a badge of courage or has some righteousness attatchment to it which makes it more of a challenge to heal

which brings me to reiki as an adjunct therapy
it is important that reiki energies be supported by the persons commitment to heal which in ptsd cases usually looks like .... counseling, conventional medical support, and or devotion to a higher spiritual path of some sort.

self awareness and self realization seem to play key roles in the treatment of this imbalance. and imho devotion to some sort of higher path helps tremendously with forgivness and restoration of personal power

anyway I have rambled on far to long
hope this helps

keep up the good work
you are here for a reason ! ! !

Dear Angelsaround,
For any issue, full body Reiki, all chakras & extra chakra work where you are drawn during the session. Without the ability to do an individual session would say :anything that aids in balance of the emotional & the cognitive brains. For traumatic stress or anxiety, center on brain & heart centers, thinking & emotion: crown ( central nervous system), third eye ( autonomic nervous system) & heart (circulatory).
If the client is open to massage would recommend that since we often store traumatic memories in our body & massage can stimulate release.
However, as has been mentioned, professional counseling is wise.

peace & joy,

Thank you so much for all the input!
I'll keep studying. I'd like to actually
come across someone that wants and needs the
healing. Maybe that will come with time.
