When I was given a mini-attunement Saturday night at the monthly Reiki gathering, for the first time ever, I saw floating between the palm of my hands a triangle. I told the RM about this observation. He laughed and said that he majored in advanced mathematics and figured that's where I picked it up.
However, Sunday's free healing fair was different. I saw a strange symbol in a monk's third eye that had three leaves and unidentifiable writing across it. This was repeated on his palms as well. On a lady, I saw a three-dimensional pyramid in her third eye and palm of her hands.
Any comments?
Sincerely,
Zookie

Dear Zookie,
Would agree with your RM, you are picking up symbols from the person you are working on. The client may be able to enlighten you, if you choose to share it. Not every client welcomes hearing about what we see or can decipher the meaning however.
In Reiki share we were encouraged to reveal these experiences openly in the group but I have come to embrace private discussions of what transpires between client & practitioner. It is up to the client to decide what to do with the information should we decide to disclose it.
Reiki is so intimate.
peace & joy,
holobon

zookie,
Hi,
You are seeing things.
:)
But, remember too, that what you describe has been represented in art and other media for centuries (including widely on the internet since its advent) and is it not likely you have seen some of these in the past? The power of suggestion can be considerable, afterall.
:)
The issue may be rather different, of course, if the symbols are unfamiliar.
Cheers,
RC

W-O-W!!! You think?
>> ;o)
So when I see an angel, then I am just seeing things because of the pictures and figureines of angels all over the place.
>>:(
Now the symbol that I saw on the monk (which I have no idea what it was) was real......... or maybe not because parts of the complicated symbol looked familiar.... H-m-m-m

So far, I have seen the trine and the three-dimensional pyramid symbols only on some Reiki Masters.

A fellow Reikian found some interesting information on the internet by a fellow by the name of Stephen H. Barrett of the Chios Energy who explained the trine as follows:
"The Trine, which is the outline of an equilateral triangle (not filled in), is the symbol of penetration to higher levels of existence. It awakens the mind to the higher levels. It points upward, and connects this world to the higher worlds.
Its three sides correspond to the many trinities in spiritual systems, but especially as a symbol of the passing, from one to the other, between incarnation and discarnate life (the base points of the trine), with the goal of spiritual growth and rising above the world towards a state of self-realization and spiritual liberation. As a symbol of this ascension, it represents a heightened and broadened awareness, a refined perception and a higher rate of vibration: an ascension to a higher level of reality."
>>:=o
This fits with the people I saw these symbols on.

Cheers!!!

zookie,
Hi,
Someone once observed that nothing unreal exists. If we take this as axiomatic, then active imagination exists and must be real and cannot be ruled out in any 'non-corporeal' events; since they too exist and therefore must be real. So discerning active imagination from other 'seeing' seems not as simplistic as some make it out to be.
Cheers (lizzie in the hizzie with diamonds),

I had a student who experienced similar, everyone has different experiences, for him this turned into a lesson on symbols as he started to experience them as fluid and alive which was its own lesson. Sit with your experience and wait to see what it means for you. I truly believe in keeping a journal as somtimes all your experiences synergise to make sense at a later date

Greetings!
I don't think your RM is familiar with Sacred Geometry. My belief for you is an absolute invitation into the awesome practical connection between heart coherence (sacred geometry) and Reiki! Leading edge information. Also connected to Mary Magdalene and Egyptian Mystery School.
Good Luck and thank you for this opportunity to share. Good for you for trusting yourself.
As Light, GrailHeart
