WONDERING IF ANY OF YOU HAVE DONE REIKI IN THE WATER? I HAVE DONE REKI IN A SWIMMING POOL ON A FEW RECIPIENTS. IT HAS A SOOTHING AFFECT AND THE WATER SURROUNDING US HAS A COMFORTING QUALITY. I HAVE ALSO EXPERIENCED THE WATER REIKI AND IT OFFERS A FEELING OF THE COMFORT OF BEING IN THE WOMB.

I have only read about reiki in the water thru Reiki Magazine. In the article sessions were held in the ocean in greece. How Beautiful!

I would love to experience it myself. Perhaps get one of those flotation mats and work in a heated pool or hot tub.

I haven't read any articles about water reiki, but for what it's worth, I always give my self treatments in the bathtub.

I'm most relaxed in there, I'm warm and safe. I love it.

I also give my distance reiki while sitting in the water.

I'd LOVE to read the articles you're talking about.

If you have a Barnes & Noble near you they carry Reiki Magazine. I had a subscription for awhile but I would rather just go and buy it now. I am impatient, LOL

I guess you could try any old bookstore, B&N just happen to be where I am.

THE WATER REIKI I TALKED ABOUT WAS AN EXPERIENTATION ON MY PART BECAUSE WATER IS A NATURAL FOR ME. I SPEND MUCH TIME SWIMMINMG AND DOING WATER TAI CHI. I GIVE CLASSES ON THE TAI CHI. I DECIDED TO TRY WATER REIKI ON SOME FRIENDS, THEN OFFERED IT AS A REIKI TREATMENT. THE FIRST PERSON I GAVE IT TO HAS M.S. SHE TOLD ME AFTERWARDS IT HAD REALLY HELPED HER BODY RELAX. THAT WAS 2 YEARS AGO AND SHE HAS SINCE GONE IN TO REIKI CLASSES AND BECOME A PRACTICIONER. SHE TOLD ME LAST MONTH SHE HAS EXPERIENCED A HEALING. I HAVE DONE WATER REIKI ON PEOPLE FOR MENSTRAUL CRAMPS, STRESS AND STOMACH DISORDERS. I HAVE DONE TREATMENT ON A PERSON WHO HAS AN EPILEPTIC DISORDER AND STROKE. THIS MAN HAS MADE GOOD COPING AND SOME HEALING IN CERTAIN AREAS OF HIS DISEASE.
I ATTRIBUTE ALL THESE THINGS TO THE REIKI FOR I AM NO MORE THAN A CHANNEL. IN DOING REIKI IN THE WATER I LET THE PERSON FREE FLOAT IF THEY CAN. IF THEY CAN'T I PUT THEM ON A FLOAT IN THE WATER. THE GENTLE ROCKING AFFECT OF THE WATER IS VERY SOOTHING. I AM REPLYING TO YOU BECAUSE YOU SHOWED A STRONG INTEREST IN THIS WORK OR SHOULD I SAY IN THIS TYPE OF REIKI. REIKI LOVE..DEANIE

In water reiki I use music , the same meditation type that I use in a regular treatment. Everything is standard to a regular Reiki except it is done in the water. I am a member of a swimming club. I rent the pool on off swimming hours to give the Reiki. I would love to build my own pool at home for this purpose, but that has not as of yet materialized. I also use a pool at my friends house at a time that no one else is swimming.
