I don't think I've a very well developed sense of humour, or If I come across as a bit crass. Just because I thought this, doesn't mean it's true. Wicked or not, I laugh at my own jokes, even if no one else do.

Dear Jaguar,
I think you're just fine. When I made a joke on your "Reiki and Sex" thread, you made a joke in return. There are a lot of people who would have taken offense. Keep laughing!
Best wishes,
Roxy

Hey Jag, *hugs**
It's ok if no one gets your jokes or only some of them. Just keep on being yourself and having fun.
I have an extremely dry sense of humor so it takes a while for people to get me most the time.
Luckily I have a wonderful circle of friends I hang with and they get me so thats ok!
Blessings,
Jahnavi

Hi Jag
Of course your sense of humour may well be developed far beyond the capabilities of your audience.

Cheers, I find that people who wish to be funny can invariably be so to the hilarity of their peers. Unfortunately, I'm of that other kind. If I try to be funny, I aint. Though one plus in my favour, sometimes I'm funny when I don't try.

Otoharo!
I used to htink I did not have a sense of humor. But I find that witty things just pop out of my mouth without any prethought about it. I suspect this is common. How could we not have a sense of humor?
When I was starting out as a school teacher of first grade children, one child kept getting on my nerves, he kept the class in an uproar. I chose rather to pay attention to him and purposefully discover ways I could love him. what became immediately observable was that his arms and legs were not very coordinated. Consequently, he would knock over his chair accidentally. Rather than feel dumb about it, he took advantage and clowned about it with the result, the class joined in the laughter. I loved him for sure after that.
