Dear ones,
Have any of you worked on this condition and is it appropriate for Reiki or should it be fixed first? The person is elderly and does not know how they cracked it. Went through much pain and had accupucture.

Morning Prosperity :)
I haven't experienced working on someone with this condition and had a little think about it. I suppose it's different to working on a broken bone...we have to wait until they are fixed first so that we know they are healing in the right position. With a crack there would, I imagine, be no realignement so no room for error. Maybe the Reiki would work well to reseal the crack??
Just thoughts I'm afraid. Hopefully someone here will have some knowledge or experience on this.
Best of luck
Blessings
Ally

prosperity,

Hi,

Yes, patellar injuries are quite painful. Osteoporosis might be one precipitating factor (bone fractures may occur with very little stress or impact when osteoporosis is extant). If he\she has not seen a physician for Xrays then doing so would be appropriate. No harm likely in doing Reiki as well.

Cheers,

RC

Dear Ally,
Thanks for your response. I ended up doing some Reiki so I hope she feels better.

Dear RC,

True about the osteoporosis as her knee had been bothering her to go up and down stairs before her painful experience. She has done x-rays and I'm glad I did the Reiki as the two responses I've received which included yours have been that its ok. Just checking. She may have to get a cortisone shot if pain continues. It seems to be doing better. Thanks so much,
peace,
