pleased your back to read the messages...
I myself feel in my heart you are doing the right thing, a person can become so 'consumed with pain', which over rides 'all' else...having pain 24/7 takes a lot of strength, it 'can' wear you down to a point , you feel 'nothing will help'... going into the hospital is wonderful for her at this time, even if she doesn't have a disk problem she will be put onto better pain management, then & only then, when not consumed in fear & pain, can she move on....
