do we all have reiki guides?

Not everybody believes in Reiki guides. I don't know if we do or don't.

nekomon, back in the 70's, actually, it was in the 60's that a man began to teach what he came to earth to give us. He in the past had been one of the early prophets of the bible, I forget which, he was Frances of Assissi, he was John the baptist, and the person who led people in Mexico to freedom, etc. He was beyond the need to incarnate, but he was prodded by his cohorts to come and share. He did not want to take the risk of getting caught up inthis world and lose his way, but he did anyway. HIs name was Francisco Coll. He formulated a program for teaching us that we are free souls in the universe. That we can see without eyes, hear without ears. He called his first program, Inner Peach Movement. Others that came later were, Astro-Soul, Profound Mistical Meditation, Family Life Education, and his teaching of leaders, the Americana Leadership College. I heard his lecture and went to hear him at his retreat center. I took many courses and was trained in most of what he offered. His theme throughout all of it is that we all have at least one guide and if we work with people, we usually have seven guides. these are friends of ours who chose to come with us to assist us in our plan for this lifetime.

These are the guides that we came into this life with. Other guides may volunteer for special offerings we devise to help people. All of them are devoted to helping humanity. Some of your own guides may also be your reiki guides. Others may have joined you to specialize in what you do with reiki.

So-called guides are not personal servants. Such entities have their own agendas, afterall. It is also important not to confuse the actual presence of such entities with the manifestations of an over-active imagination.

What RC says truly applies. What I described are guides or one guide that stays with you for the duration of this lifetime. That is not a specific reiki guide.

The one reiki guide that assisted me was around for about a year, I guess. she has moved on to other things.

My lifetime guides atay with me through thick and thin.

If you want to pursue this subject find someone in the Inner Peace Movement near you and get the first counseling. It will tell you all about your guide/guides. And will also tell you your personality traits according to fire, water, earth, and air energies.

These are two different subjects, though both about guides.

I do know we all have guides, but whether they are specifically reiki guides? That I don't know.

i personally have reiki guides who help me with my psychic intiation and diagnosing people with their ailments. i my master says these guides are like guardian angels or helpful spirits, like ancestors or totems. she did not say whether all reiki practitioners have them so i would say no. but i could be wrong. i think reiki is something personal and different for each person so not everybody has guides.

I respect your view. and I agree that not everyone has reiki guides, me for instance. But I have the guides who came with me at birth and so does everyone.

I want add that for several years when I had my office in town and had regular and occassional clients for reiki, I had a special reiki guide. This waws in addition to my regular guides. She no longer works with me now.

My own belief is that we all have souls who look in on us, help us, guide us along the way. These are souls that we have had past lives with, souls that we asked to help us in this life before entering.

I have had four guides help me at diffrent times. They are of diverse background and ethinicity. I have found that one has been with me from the start and the others come when I need their particular guidance.

You must meditate and ask for your guide or guides to greet you. Names are not important and do not ask for "proof". Also, you must go into this with some level of faith that they are there for you. How many sessions will it take? You will know when they come to you:))

i pray alot i talk to god as if he wasy someone i know altough painfully distanced! argh! but i think someway in my life some guides must have heard me pray`? and no one has answered me.. i have also tried meditating and asking but nothing nothing happened..

as i said before i am badly mentally sick i have GAD and i live in hell and i have low depression.. no medication has helped and i am in painfull desperation for help and guidence.

The belief that there are specific "guides" or spirits that work with 'Reiki' and individual practitioners, is that the guides can be with us before we even initiate to into any healing approach. Some healing practitioners refer to these Guides as "Ascendant Masters", "Spirits", or "Guides". Some forgetting about tour Human Guides.

Also the belief in them varies to different beings that can come to help and support with Reiki and attuning. It is very important to be grounded when giving healing and sometimes guides will come a long to teach us this, from realms 'across the board' That means even a HUMAN guide that may have a special quality we can associate with.

I have found more and more often that many people are being taught Reiki without any information on working with the subtle bodies, or neutral approaches to healing and that of their guides. Not only can a guide come from spirit I feel, it can, come from many different places and being. Surly you have noticed the wind or the climate changing around you, when you are working at healing.

Reiki Guides may be present at attunement/initiation, when a person is given the Reiki Energy. This is performed by a Reiki 'Master' and attended and maybe guided by astral Guides, they do not have to have known or know Reiki. Reiki is a Japanese word for Universal energy. Some times, it has been said by my learning partners, this process of attunement/initiation seems controlled by forces beyond myself as the Reiki ''Master' the guide being free to influence an attunement/initiation and the Reiki 'Master' has no power over another's guides!
