The Reiki Cafe 

Hello all,

I was recently cleaning my house and preparing for a smudging. That means the first step for me was to actually CLEAN my house of the 17 layers of dog hair, etc that I have. So, I was cleaning along and listening to the radio and when a song popular from my high school days came on.

My right hand got hot and I could feel energy.

So I put my right hand on my heart and was immediately filled with this fantastic energy.

I thought it was odd because I didn't necessarily have emotional ties to this song, it was just popular when I was in high school.

So I thought I would share this experience and see if anyone else had something similar happen because it just surprised me. Or what your thoughts might be.

not so much with a song, but for a couple of months last year I was getting strong pinpoint of feeling in center of palms, also they itched. Kind of funny how it turns on and off when we don't conciously intend it?

Music is a great communicator. It has the ability to connect us to our real selves, to the Universe, to whatever. Music is not just the lines and spaces on a sheet of paper. It is a living energy. Whether it turned on Reiki is not the question really. It turned itself on!

There's a book by this guy, who wrote the mozart effect, I can't remember name of book/author, but it has a cd in the back and you play it in conjunction with the book for some connection or some big effect over 5 days. Sounds interesting.
