Hallo all!!! Can anybody advice me on a trail and tested procedure for the removal of a spiritual attachment, I’ve searched the web for a procedure but alas nothing. Thank you and may our day be filled with the warm glow of God’s love!!

- tried and true? No such thing in energy work. However, there are some techniques that may be more effective and\or reliable than others

- but, the first step is to have the nature of the attachment assessed by a practitioner

- the two techniques I would recommend (if appropriate, of course), are shamanic extraction or soul retrieval (so a shamanic practitioner would be in order)

- also, I do a general energy bodies distance clearing technique that may, in some cases, help people rid themselves of lesser attachements but it is not specifically designed for such removals - if interested in more information, E-mail me via The Cafe and I will send you some discussion

Of course, before attempting to remove an 'attachment' it is important to attempt to ascertain WHY the attachment has occured in the first place. :-)

It is commonly a sign of issues that need to be addressed

- simply removing the attachment without doing so may result in further similar attachments occurring

Can't remove 'em, I've tried. Don't work nohow, the little critters just keep coming back and grabbing on. Get some practitioner feller to clear them off of ya, they jes' wait a while and come right back atcha.

As long as you believe in 'em, they exist and persist. And what you resist, persists. It's a dang riddle, what it is.

Only way is to see, SEE, the illusion of it. Only way I've found to SEE is to WORK through the attachment until it's transparent.

I'm dang slow at that working through stuff, which is mighty irritating to all and sundry around me. The others help me from time to time with a swift kick in the pants. (Zen Master's best friend = big stick).

Others who "cut my cords" give me a brief glimpse of freedom -- "oh, that's how I'm supposed to feel!" -- before, whoosh! I invite the attachment back in again.

'Course, this from a guy who took half his life to quit smoking. Might be easier for you...

Can you describe a bit by what you means as spiritual attachment ? is it an entity attachment ? or multiple entity attachment ?

Hi,

The ones that keep coming back are very often the ones you (we) generate ourselves. Attachements we pick up from others can be cleared for longer periods.

Hello Jean, *hugs and blessings**
The best way I know of to release attachments is to sit in meditation and recite I Am that I Am, and then envision myself as the Light that I Am..
Remember that as you start feeling attachments. When I start feeling this way I know I'm moving through issues which need my attention. So, once again, sitting down and remembering the truth of my true beingness..

Sounds plausible! I do however believe that, the fewer attachments we generate ourselves, the less we will pick up of other-generated attachments.

Wait, though...on another level I'm dubious that there is such a thing as an attachment. Though in this world of dream and illusion, one thing we do is to form seeming attachments and work through them, it only takes a moment, THIS moment, to see they are all illusory.

Then the moment fades, and we are asleep again.

P.S. Do we not somehow invite others' attachments? Maybe that's why the ancient sages preferred hermitage!

Hi,

Attachments know no distances. As we might send Reiki to someone 1\2 way round the world so too may an attachement travel (though the energy behind it may, of needs, be significant). Or, it may simply go from our thoughts or our feelings or our intentions into one or more of our energy bodies.

Have you communicate with this spirit ? or find a shaman to get rid of it? i had similar problem in the past but luckly met a (shaman) or wise person whom removed it from my spine.
(well at least it felt that way). reiki as far as i know doesn't work for their kind. or need different technique to do it. earth energy and local deva should be asked for permission for using earth energy and help to remove the entities. i'm still beginning to understand some of this so i can't really help you yet on specific procedure.
