Hi i need anyones input or advice at all. Im having a really difficult time, i was in a bad accident and i lost my two front teeth as well as an adjacent tooth. Im getting titanium implants in order to correct the problem. Im wondering if anyone has any experience or knowledge of the effects that these titanium screws may have on my energy balances or anything. I have other options but they are not as good on a physical level (dentures or a bridge) but the idea of titanium in my body seems like it would drastically alter my bioenergetic composition and flow. Please post back and help me. thanks

chief12,
/*\ Namaste :-}}
- I would not presume to predict how that little bit of titanium will affect your energy, auras, etc - give yourself some time to find out
- so, I would not get too distraught just yet
- but you will set off the airport securitry systems
bagl
- my wife, a Reiki Master, just had about 6 ounces of titanium plates and screws put in to pin her ankle back together
- I have not yet noticed any significant effects on her energy bodies when I am doing Reiki on the ankle and she has not reported anything out of the ordinary (yet)
- however, her first follow-up X-rays show new bone growth in an area where there had been a very fine hairline fracture they did not pin surgically - the surgeon was both pleased and amazed as my wife is at an age where osteoporosis is commmon - not new bone growth
>:-}}}}
- hope this helps

I really wouldnt worry at all, the implants wont affect you adversely and after all Reiki flows through everything, Reiki is everything so they will just be part of you like all the other parts of you.
I am sorry to hear about your accident an hope that things are on the up for you xx
:) Ki x

I have one of the screws you're talking about, don't know if it's titanium but it's definately metal of somekind.
I didn't have an accident, but as a child two of my baby teeth grew in fused together as somekind of super tooth. I thought it was coold then and was dissapointed when only one tooth replaced it.
A family friend who is a dentist realigned everything to create a gap and placed the metal "root" for a new tooth I'll be getting next month. The process is really kind of interesting if you approach it from a clinical perspective, it's not every day that someone drills into my mandible so I was amazed at the concept and it didn't hurt with the anasthetic so it felt kind of cool too. I haven't experienced any energy disturbance, it's not like their putting a cannonball sized load stone into your gut and when you think about it your aura comes into contact with more metal than that on an almost continuous basis through out the day.
I'd be more concerned with the emotional and psychological imbalances after a traumatic event like that. Even if you feel fine in that regard your tension with something small and corrective like that may indicate that you have some deeper issues from the accident that you need to deal with before you're ready to feel "healthy".
I hope everything goes well and my prayers too you on a speedy recovery, friend.
