Finality,
I appreciate all that you said, esp. your last point...
that it is my responsibility to continue to work toward becoming a clear channel through which the Reiki energy can flow unimpeded. ...to be an instrument, to be used by the Reiki energy for the mutual benefit of practitioner and recipient. Intention and mindfulness being key. Thank you.

Otoharo!
Replen, I will give you my opinion and experience. Reiki I is all of reiki. We use it typically to heal ourselves and it takes time and sticktitiveness to do so. Then we get reiki II which gives the symbols and specifically opens the emotional door. We still work on ourselves and practice being reiki via distance. It is not at all necessary to get reiki III. That is practice oriented. It is not a new energy. Not a different energy. I spent a year auditing other peoples classes. I really learned a lot. It was worth every penny i spent doing this. Mrs. Takata sold her home inorder to have the money to travel to Japan for healing and once learning about reiki, taking the class. She invested so much in herself. I, too, see all this as my investment in me.
Reiki never changed. thoughout all of this. Reiki remained reiki just as it was in Reiki I. How do you imagine that we change it by all these class acitivies?

Ah, Firekeeper,
In consideration of your first query, please let me clarify.
In the “Reiki Questionnaire” (in the User Profiles area) is the question: “What Reiki level are you?” One is given but three choices with which to respond:
__None
__Practitioner
__Practitioner/Teacher
I understand them as follows:
__None = having received no Reiki certification, as yet.
__Practitioner = having received Reiki I or Reiki II certification.
__Practitioner/Teacher = having received certification through Reiki III which includes the option to teach Reiki to others.
Yes, I have completed Reiki III. Is not Reiki III commensurate with "Practitioner/Teacher"? It might well be, I am not understanding these designations correctly.
Were it known, I would be more comfortable with this designation:
__Reiki III, at present, choosing not to teach.
~~Something like, Married w/o children : ~)... or maybe not : ~)) ~~
And so, my non-teaching status renders your “What has been your experience?” moot, as it related to teaching.
Please see 2/3.

Firekeeper,
Yes: Higher (frequency) is not necessarily better in the application at hand.
Yes: Being a clear channel for the energy is the responsibility of the practitioner.
The recipient chooses to take it or leave it. Healing responsibility lies with the recipient.
Re your: “ just as all Practitioners are not 'equally' connected to the flow of energy….”
True. A good reminder that. For me, this points to the spiritual essence of Usui’s rediscovery, (since called "Reiki"). And, also points to one of his Precepts: "...work on yourself...." For me, Reiki is first a spiritual practice.
Please: to 3/3.

Firekeeper,
FK: “- for myself?? Training and being attuned to the three levels of Reiki allowed me to a develop my connections to a broader range of the qualities of ULE.”
So: Attunements did not give you higher or varying frequencies (i.e., “a broader range of the qualities of ULE”) but, rather, attunements (along w/ training) gave you the wherewithal to develop your connection to same.
And, lastly, I can, at least, imagine that Kundalini pranayamas would certainly enhance, nay, heighten/intensify energy practices. I appreciate that.
Ah, yes, our perception is our “reality.”
Your post does help. Thank you.

Dear Resplen,
On the subject of frequencies...I don't think anyone has ever attempted to measure the frequency of Reiki, or if it even is possible. Therefore, I'd say it isn't really possible to address the subject of Reiki frequencies.
Blessings,
Roxy
