The Reiki Cafe 

I have several practical questions. I've done a comprehensive search trying to answer them myself, but I'm not too search-savvy, and I wanted to hear some responses from actual people, so please bear with me.

1. Could you please recommended a good teacher or school for reiki 1 certification in the eastern PA/NJ area? And, if really worth it, the NYC area?

2. Have any of you attended reiki retreats? If so, where? Are there ones that are known to be cheaper (I couldn't find many)?

3. Is there a(n) (dis)advantage of taking a weekend/one-day reiki class, vs. taking one that is more lengthy (e.g., once a week for 3 months type of deal)? Is one considered to be "better"?
