Hello Usui and Karuna Reikimasters.
Does anyone of you have experience with combining the two Reiki systems?
I am curious to know about and would like to share healing and spiritual development experiences with other Usui and Karuna Reiki practitioners around the world on this matter.
When you read this message please join in on the thread to open a discussion how you have personally experienced healing magick from combining the two systems.
I could open the discussion by saying that I have had a close encounter with a soulmate and because soulmate relationships are sometimes electric the loving compassion of Karuna Reiki for me has proved helpful in opening up to universal or spiritual love.
Please feel free to post any relevant experiences here or via private email.
Love + Reiki light

Peter,
Namaste...
There is a good book written by Laurelle Shanti Gaia called, The Book on Karuna Reiki. She ties the two in quite nicely together. I used this book along with Rands for my training.
As far as personal experiences, I'm only recently attuned to Karuna so don't have much to share. I only can say it definately has a different feel to it.
I really gravitate to the symbols as well. I feel them very deeply (for lack of a better word). In comparison to Uusi symbols, I don't use them much anymore. I "just do it". :-)
But that's just me...
...hope this helps in some way.
Abundant blessings,

Well thanks a lot for your reply, mammabear. It is much appreciated.
This is exactly the book I have been working with. Laurelle has clarified much with her insights into Karuna. I was attuned about a year ago, but not by Laurelle or Wiliam and funnily the whole Karuna universe has just opened up for me now.
Was wondering whether you could elaborate on the contents of the William Rand - is it a book or a manual? Does Rand add to Laurelle - or is the same? How/where do I obtain the Rand book/manual? Do you know other Karuna Masters - that we can share insights with?
Abundant blessings to you too, dear

Peter,
Namaste...
William Rand has a manual for Karuna 1 that you can probably get on his site. The book contains the symbols where Laurelle's book does not show them. That is the obvious difference.
She goes more into her personal experience with Karuna where Rand's manual is just that...a manual. It is fine in of itself, but for further reading, her book is a good addition.
Of course, working with the energy is always the best teacher. Are there any reiki shares near you that you can get valuable feedback from other practioners, or perhaps start one of your own? For me, this is one of the best ways to grow in understanding of reiki, Karuna or otherwise.
I hope this is helpful...
:-)
Abundant blessings,
Mammabear
