The Reiki Cafe 

Hi , sorry to say this , but this seems to be true......

Most Reiki "master" seems to teach reiki energy in a funny way....... They attune you , give you the manual and say bye bye to you......(Seems to be true)

But for me , after being taught by "such a way".....I wanted to change it! I will teach meditation first , then after the student is ready for Reiki for his whole life , then I will attune......

I will ask the student to go out with me , and talk more ourself, I want my "student" to feel the way of living with Reiki. There will be alot of talking and healing, my student will recive healing from me.

Before he/she attune to Reiki , he/she must know what is the attunement for and uses. Instead of attuning Reiki , I think I should say I am teaching him about life.

Of course , I will share Reiki life with my students before they attuned.

Here is what they must "reach" before attunement is allowed.

...Be able to meditate
...Trust me that I will not harm him/her(If they don't trust me , then why should they learn from me?!)
...Be able to let go

The fee for the course:Depends on his/her income(if is a kid , why should I take his/her money? Or if he/she is poor , why must I take their money?)

After attunement , I will ask them how they felt , or what they wanted to share......

Then he/she will be asked to meditate infront of me(not too long)

Then , I will teach them how to use Reiki , and what is the uses of Reiki symbols, why use symbols.....and so on......

Of course , I will teach them about Chakra while teaching meditation......

After he/she learned Level one(Basic), they must remember what I taught them , and I will do a little test....

After he/she is ready for level two, I will ask them if they wanted to teach the others, after attuned to level two , I will teach them to read Aura and use their six sense....

Then the last level(After learning the last level , they won't be taught anything more from me , because this is the time for them to go on their own......)

I should say , I spend most of the time talking about life.....Answering questions.......And for Reiki, attunements.......teaching.....then teach them to use it......I won't make any student depends on me all the time......

Students should be taught how to fly with their wings.......

The reason I am sharing this is because , I hope you all can think again , how you all should teach your students......

I hope my students will learn more then me , and above me......I will teach my student that , I am not the best , you can always be better then me.....

each to their own, an I somewhat agree with the other two, but learning of reiki in the west as the east is different because of the cultural differences in each.
Because the west see things in a different way, probably more materialistic rather than spiritual and not open to outstide thing of their religon, your way might not suit them.
but each to their own. some students, regardless of where their from will go by your or others teaching, if it's what they need. If not they can always get another teacher.
