Hi all. I have a client who read a book a few years ago and it put some ideas in her head about God and she can't get past them now. She struggles with this just about every day now, and I was wondering if using the #2 during our sessions can 'clear' some of those ideas so she can make room for new concepts?

- so, I would offer that a practitioner cannot put an intention on the symbol for the recipient (and should not make any such attempts) - that takes one into the realms of puttng one's own personal energy into Reiki practices

- and, it sounds as if you might have issues about god as well??

Good advice, so maybe offer her the opportunity to clear it herself once that part of the session starts.

Short response: If you are feeling guided to use the #2 symbol then you should trust your intuition and do so.

Longer response: Your client has mentioned this to you and so has obviously put out to the Universe that she wants to work on this issue. We ask, we receive. Ask for guidance from your guides in treating this client. If your intuition tells you to use a certain symbol, use it. Remember that Reiki heals for the greatest good. If assimilating what she has read and what she knows about God is for her greatest good, then Reiki will help her with this.
