The Reiki Cafe 

Hi everyone. I am hoping someone out there can help me find some information about Denise de Tania/Tanya or Russell Carlon and their reiki Master Teachers. I know that Beth Gray was not their Master Teacher and I am wondering if one of Takata's other 21 reki Master students might have been their teacher. I would really like to fill in the gap in my Reiki lineage so any help would be much appreciated.

Have to admit I can't find a thing about Denise de Tania, but apparently Russell is now deceased. Found this on an Oz site:

Actually, you should have been given your reiki lineage when you became a 'master'.

Yes, I have been in touch with Trevor but we are looking for information on Denise de Tania as Russell said Denise was taught by Takata but no one else has heard of her. Thanks for your help tho, very much appreciated

Was Denise or Russel your RM teacher? I have a absent to Takata lineage from one of my last RM teachers as well. She gave me a couple of names is all. Then she told me she was born a RM. I believe this is one of the reasons, that there has been legal problems regarding having RM's having to be licensed as MTs to make sure they are qualified. Not to say this women RM wasn't but it sure changed my view on Reiki at times.

I would be interested in the name of your last RM teacher who had the absent to Takata lineage and although my lineage has been verified back to Denise de Tania, there is no further information on her. The Australian Reiki Connection accepts my lineage even with the absent to Takata as all the RM's below Denise de Tania in my lineage have been exceptional practitioners and teachers and their teachings have been demonstrated to be in line with Usui shiki Reiki. I do believe reiki is a personal journey and that one never stops learning or journeying :). which emphasizes this personal journey point well. It is definitely worth a look.
