The Reiki Cafe 

i was blessed with reiki 1st degree attunement two years ago , but i was not careful in selecting my master . as a result i gradully felt uncomfortable with him . please tell me can i receive attunement from another master for the same degree? is there any harm?

When you have finished a class, but don't wish to do the next level with that teacher, you may certainly shop for another one. Some even take the same level again with someone else. It really is your choice.

I am sorry things didn't work out. I do understand. Reiki teachers around here are as scarce as polar bears so I stuck with the same one. Find one that rocks you.

I agree with Birdy, Shreenu. And I thought that was part of the reason that folks gave certificates, so that you'd have proof of having completed a level.....if, the next Reiki master should request it. While searching for your next teacher.....why not Reiki the situation and search....

As has been said, it is your choice. It is good that you are aware that the first master you studied with, is not for your future. Go with how you feel. Talk to lots of people and you will find the right path.
