I found that there are alot of "free attunements".

And there are alot of problem with it, first , you do not know if he is cheating you, second , he might steal your energy , third , he might need you to pay for notes....so on- -"

So , suggest , if someone is going to teach you free but not teaching you how to use it.....then you better not learning from that teacher(unless you can pay by paypal).

After all , I wish you all met a good teacher.

I can understand your doubts, since there are a lot of people out there in the world who want to trick you. However, I can tell you that you probably should not worry about free attunements. Here is why:

[EDIT: My arguments only apply to distant attunements. If you are suppose to meet someone in say a warehouse at midnight for a "reyki-circle", I would run the other way.]

1. If the intended "attuner" is cheating you. What is the harm, if nothing happens?

2. How is it possible to steal someone's energy? Would it not be easier for "energy vampires" to earn their living on the streets, or just look a name up in the yellow pages. If they are going to hurt you anyway, why would they ask for your permission?

3. Just be careful not to sign contracts that you have not read. If there is no signature or otherwise oral agreement (eg. by phone) then you will not have to pay anything.

4. Last but not least, I have had only free (distant) attunements and my Reiki experience and actions thru Reiki are just as good as any other Reiki practitioner. One of my healing friends recently told me she respected my healing, since she felt a presence of strong power when I placed my hands on here.

Finally, you do not have to believe a word I say. I might be the greatest scam ever, even an an "energy vampire". Nevertheless, I encourage you to think through the words I wrote and not to be too hasty in your judgement.

Personally, I have much more trouble believing in people trying to actually sell me something.

Good words, IvoryRaven....I've never wanted to not be able to trust someone.....to not have the benefit of doubt....seek more than what I truly understand....and sometimes, that means going out on the limb...being challenged. I treasured your words and your concern for hearth......and for the rest of us, too!

If someone is cheated and they think they can use reiki, then they might used their own energy....it could be dangerous due to misuse of it...
