The Reiki Cafe 

Hello,

Once again I request some feedback from you wise ones!!!! I recently had a special client, she smell things that no one else does. for instance she was at work and smelled burnt toast asked around if any one else smelled it. No one else did, she called home to her daughter at that point and her daughter had burnt her bagle really bad and there was smoke in the house.
When i got there she was really stress. Her aura was gold but kind of dull looking. And there seemed to be like a black cloud shadowing her. So I did all stuff i normally do, Reiki, crystal therapy along with meditation music.
Right after I did my closing and thanks to my quides and the creator and brought her out of her meditative state her legs were uncontrolably shaking. She got scared at first and was fighting it. I told her to stop fighting it and that it would be ok. And it did stop and i noticed that the blackness was gone.
Has this ever happened to any of you?
I think that her shaking was her bodies way of completely releasing her toxins. ?

What do yo think??????????

When I was new to reiki I often saw body reactions. Xaris said reiki does not cause this, rather it is the body's reaction to an energy new to it. As soon as the body found reiki familiar and useful, these body sensations would cease and they did. Perhaps this relates to you in your situation.

My humble intuitive take on that is that she was releasing / grounding pent/stuck negative energy as opposed to toxins. Two different things although they can have connecting tendrils of commonality between granted.

A fine Reiki session as you describe sets the stage for the toxin release but manifests hours or days/weeks later if the recipient works with (allows) it.

Negative energy release is a more realtime event i believe.

Does she have any aside symtoms of what might be ascribed to RLS?

just wondering, Hon.....did she have these sensations before meeting with you.....did she have them from afar without you....I mean, could your connection together, perhaps have enhanced what she was experincing before....hope I'm making some sense here....

Thanks for you info. I'm not sure what RLS is. I (my own personal observation) "think" she has a very special gift and is starting to realize she has it. And the more she tries opening up to it to help herself and others the more bad things happen to her. (like car broke down, daughter lost career and moved in with son, then son 6, all of a sudden developes asthma. And the list of negetivity goes on and on, they are positive people that help and love. soo what i guess im saying is thanks i agree and this is why!

As far as smelling things goes, she has done that her whole life, also has visions and feelings. She always felt wierd or was told she was "different".

As far as the shaking goes, it has only happened at our session for her.

Now i have only had one other person react like that and she has very special gifts also. But with her it was only her first session with me reiking her. And now when i do she doesnt shake.

Perhaps she is an air person. When I was in Inner Peace Movement, we all gathered with the group of others who had the same first element. that is, the water people sat in front of the podioum, earth people sat also in front but to the left of the waters. The fire people sat at the right of the podium, on FC" right hand. All us air people were to the left of the podium on FC"s left. I looked around at all these people. I liked the looks of the earth people and would gavitate to them during breaks. But I looked askance at all these air people. I mean these are weird!

Later on one of the leaders commented, if one had difficulty classifying what another person was, if they were a "character" very likely they were an air person!

Let's have it for the air people!!

Yes it has happened with me working on someone and vice-versa when many people were working on me. I was working on a guy who had been incarcerated and my then Reiki Master said he was faking it and she didn't believe people who shook during sessions were really going through anything besides drama yet it seemed like he was releasing some emotional stuff. She then later talked with him and found him to be kind, and genuine.
I noticed that you must be highly gifted yourself to see the color of her aura and to tell her that it's ok for her to shake. What information did you get from her aura being gold?

Thank you very much for your post!! What did it feel like when you shook? I dont believe they or anyone for that matter fakes it during a Reiki session. I can usually tell.
I felt that it was ok for her to shake because i could see the black cloud, and feel the negitivity leaving her.
And thank you, but I'm not gifted, just sensative. I see auras, charaks, feel meridians, some times have "visions", hear my guides usually,feel others emotions, get their physical booboos :(. Some of us in my family have telepathy. I just think i was born into a very highly sensetive family. Thanks sooo much. love and light, harmony

I felt anxiety and felt like running towards a tree in an open meadow which is what I was visualizing. They just stopped working on me. I figured too much electricity. You didn't say what the gold aura meant to you. Do you know what the colors represent? Has anyone taught you?

Prosperity, there are a number of color sckemes that people have come up with, that are not the same, so one wonders what's the score anyway. It seems to me the meaning of the color has to do with a lot of different things to each individual. There are the colors of the chakras, there are colors of feelings, different colors of emotions, etc.

Hello sorry it took me soooo long. :( Been busy. Yes, I think i know what the colour gold means, I think it means she is an earth angel. She has very speacial gifts, talents!! My aura always appears gold to me too. Others are other colours. I'm still learning techiquely what they mean. But I also tell them what come to me and an answer from my guides. Dear Finality,
Well it's good to know about colors when you do energy work so as to do no harm and to know what you're doing. Many RM's used to teach more than just symbols and attunements. A person has to learn many things in order to progress in Reiki is my opionion.

No I dont like to ignore anyone!!!! And you dont need to apoligize about your feelings. It did take a while to reply. But I work a "normal" job and have 2 young boys, 10 and 7. (football, soccer, boy scouts, karate etc...) Then i'm also trying very hard to spread the word about Reiki. And accumulate more clientelle. I love my life!!!!!!!!! But never feel you have to appoligize to me for how you feel. It does help to explain why you feel the way you do. But honor yourself by not apologizing, you have the right to feel the way you do.
