The Reiki Cafe 

I was giving reiki to my son on x-mas and this has been happening before but he noticed it and asked. My arm from elbow down throws heat along with my hands. he said it felt the same as my hands tingling and heat. So I experimented with it put my hand on one side of his torso and ran my arm slowly down his back without touching and he felt heat and tingling. I could feel it too. I did it the next day with a client and i could still feel it threw my arm. Kind of neat because it was his back that was bothering him. He said it felt so good. I ran my arm slowly down his back, I could feel the heat and the usual tingling just like in my hands. Anyone ever try this or experience something similar?
Reiki is a individual experience i know but it never ceases to amaze me!

Posylady I sure enjoyed reading your post it sounds like you have made a higher energy shift as a master/teacher and a clear mind you are going to see a lot more, your wiliness to study and accept this energy will surely help you and those that you care for. What really stirs my interest is I felt this energy in a little different way, when scanning or beaming it will fully saturate my thumb and fingers, if I find blockage it will hold me there until it clears almost as a spiritguide directing me . I probably could move on but I summit and let the energy control. When I scann or beam I let my mind follow the energy I can feel the energy flowing, i,am so glad you are able to experience Reiki energy in this manner, heat a prickly feeling are just a start for you , bless you. led I have the index finger thing going on too. I know what you mean. I can sometimes feel like I am hitting a cord. It just stops my hand. I actually sometimes try using the finger like a eraser (sounds crazy) But I think it works to losen up deep stuff. I just point and go back and forth a bunch of times scan the area again then if it needs more I do it some more till it feels right. Then move on. My finger sometimes gets a vibration feeling. It amazes me how it can be so individual and different for each reiki practioner. What neat stuff. God I love reiki!

Posylady it is so good to find a master who has experienced this energy,do you mediate? do you see different colors when you mediate? I feel you are seeking some of the same answers i,am seeking, let me ask you are you able to totally encapsulate yourself with Reiki energy I see and feel you can, don,t be afraid you are one of the few attuned to this . Led, Yes I meditate daily, If time allows a few times a day. I enjoy my quiet time. I am more or less stuck with violet color since being first attuned. It is always violet. I have tried to change the color but might work for a few seconds them back to violet. After my first attunement I had a eye that showed up in the center but still violet. After a few months it went away. I have had a few strange visions. I have been told by one lady in my Master class that she could feel reiki comming from my whole body. I was blessed with a great Reiki Master Teacher who was also clairvoient and a ghost wisperer since she was a child. She helped me understand what was happening. Apparently I get symbols. Some people get them and I apparently am one. Funny after I get them I get more hints and they become fairly clear. She also felt that me and my daughter were both healers from way back (what ever that means). My daughter and me have had a few past lives together according to her. This was told to me by another healer also, he said he felt it. Just neat stuff. I keep an open mind and let it flow. I try to keep a positve attitude and try not to be to shocked when things come to me. But I have had a few hints that I should be looking to taoism, I ching along with reiki long story but it keeps popping up. It seems good to talk about it with someone who has had similar experiences. I am sure that it is quite normal considering everyone has their own individual reiki.

Posylady. I feel like a twin to you, the violet color you see does it appear as a wave or soft cloud one merging with the other ever so smoothly? The eye you see does it come to you then phase away never really materializing? does this eye appear to be liquid to some degree? Oh I feel so connected I believe you understand what i,am experiencing, do you ground yourself before medation? Hi, pleasedon't be surprised to hear from another that you & your daughter were healers in a past life. i am a firm believer in we have all been drawn to Reiki (and other healing) at this time for a reason-the world is in turmoil and we are here to help as many as we can, as well as the earth mother herself- in a past life regression I was bought face to face with myself as a healer many centuries ago and no I didn't look like some beatiful priestess! i was very old no teeth and covered in dirt! but I was a healer, as I watched 'myself' spray spit and all sorts of things over the person I was healing I 'knew' that the healing energy I felt at that time was still with me and has carried over into every life I have had. Be happpy that you and your daughter know each other so well on a soul level. You will find the people you are with now you have been with before many times. Keep a journal on your meditations, in six months or so read it through and se the wonderful things that you have experienced. love & light

Katy, I am not really suprised that we were together inpast lives my daughter and me. Every since she was born. I have always called her a old sole. I just knew it! She was 3 or 4 years old and talked like a old person expressions. Some we never used in our home. One of them said that she was my mother in my last past life. That I passed on young and she was my mother. She wanted to come back and be with me. Apparently still wants to be the mother or thinks she is. But the problem is that she already knows or thinks she knows more than me and refuses anyone telling her what to do. Not just your typical teenage things either. She has almost always refused to play the daughter roll! L.O.L. Allways wanting to take care of everybody and everything. But she is a very gentle young women with much love. But we have alot of fun and love anyway.

and you're both so blessed, posylady...in each other....my mom's my best friend, too....and yet, we're world's apart in spiritual beliefs....we just keep learning from one another.

It is amazing daughter and mothers relationships. Having 2 older son's it was a experience having a daughter. We learn everyday. Me when to keep quite and let go is the hardest part for me. For her it is trying to understand where I am comming from. But we both learn as you say everyday. Everyday is an adventure!

This is a wee bit off track here, posylady, but felt it was still very similar. Years ago, when I was still a student...we were honored to meet & learn from Darcy Umphred....she's one of the dames of Bobath training....neuromuscular re-development. She's telling us the story of a client that she worked with. This lady was what we would call "very low level". She couldn't speak, or sit-up on her own...needed around the clock care. Darcy believed that the more body contact you had the better you could assist the client in relearning movement. She was talking to the caregivers of this young woman as she worked with her. She said, "This young woman had worked very hard to get herself out of the projects....away from a abusive family situation & world. She walked tall knowing that she had a job and could take care of herself. Then, she was injured in an auto accident. She feels like she's right back in that same prison." The caregivers are looking at each other in disbelief. They asked Darcy...."Did you read her chart?" Darcy said, No. "Then how did you know her history?!" Darcy was as surprised to answer, "Why she just told me?" As if, didn't everyone hear this?! The caregivers said that she hadn't spoken in years. This all came to Darcy and was right-on concerning the young woman thru their skin and hearts...

amazing isn't it! Somethings are just there no reason, no answers. Just there.

I went to a aura reader who told me my aura was predominately violet. Sometimes, like to-day, and just for no reason I can name, I feel a warmth down my arms, into my hands, and sometimes an energy over my whole body. Since I'm just after recieving a bio-energy healings I'm getting more attuned | suppose to feeling my energy, which is a wonderful feeling.

As to thinking that we are all being drawn to reiki because of the turmoil of the world? I think that is bullshit. We are drawn to reiki not for any other outside reason, but from within, where and when, we are ready to recieve. It just so happens that its a confluence of events and supreme concidence that allows us to be drawn to reiki and other healing modalities, just when the world in turmoil needs us to be. So.

Thats my view. Take it or don't as you will.

I think reiki is individual to all of us. Special things come and go. We change and evolve and so does reiki with each of us. Some people can see auras, some see energy, some people can feel energy, some see their spirit guides, etc. Who knows what we will be able to do when we are ready? For what? Who knows. My intention is to try to help as many people as I can now, here today with what I can do now. As for tomarrow we'll see what comes next. But You gotta love it!
