Dear Coyote,

Again, twice now with the sandy nits and tight underwear references. Not sure how to process that. ;( Perhaps the coyote caught a case of the jack pine mites and is projecting un?

I can only speak for myself underwear-wise. Tight underwear went out with the robert plant jeans of high school days. The jollies require ergonomic trappins. Just like your feet require the same. I have at least two underwears for any given occasion be it formal dining or extreme sports. In either range of venue the outdoor temperature range could from 115F to -119 (true).(not so much the fine dining)

Point being, I have come to find out that the "jollies" are to the lower self of a man what that balancing device in th inner ear is to head balance. Those jolly knuts need to be in fullswing and harmony with the movements of the rest of the body. The jollies are a balancing pendulum. Women have the same softyware but it's smaller and located inside to avoid the effects of "overswing". Look what the Romans did for example. They let their jollies run too free. Way overswing.

And then you have the Scots to be noted; there's a clan who had thier jollies trained and reined. They ran ran off that buggerin horde of Romans. My theory is that is was the counter balancing softyware in the Scot women was equally as potent.

Anyhoo, thanks for the concern.
; )

Namaste,
Michael

I would have to add that he (or she) who lets their child fall 50 times without helping isn't being much of a parent. That's what parental guidance and encouragement is for.

Same with Reiki, and these boards, friends. Only I'm the toddler here, and you folks are helping me learn to walk, as I seek walking lessons from you runners, skaters, skiiers and flyers.

If you're too busy pushing each other to help me out, I will find other teachers.

And, I'm not sure where underwear styles fits into the curriculum.

Love & Light.

Dear Alice,

I apologize if my attempt at humor and jock-u-larity to ease things up put you off.

On a similar topic, for your own notes;
" If you're too busy pushing each other to help me out, I will find other teachers."
....Perhaps you don't realize how off putting that sounded. Seems to be a country mile from being confused with sounding gracious in the least.

Sorry about that. I think the fighting was getting to me. I do appreciate having people to ask questions and get advice from.

I think I've tried to express that gratitude numerous times, but if you missed it, and my off-putting remark erased all that, I am sorry. It did come out a little too harsh, I guess.

Namaste.

That's understandable. Not fighting though. Bruce and I sure got off on the wrong foot though. Funny thing about that; I don't know Bruce, but as we were briefly locking horns, I had this intuitive feeling that Bruce and I are probably very much alike.

To Bruce: I apologize for the barrister jab. That was not cool.

Oh, Michael!!! Thank you for so much fun. Well, the Irish enjoy the kilts, too! My Daniel has a few and he loves how he had to beat the ladies off with a stick (or I do rather).

Michael,

- I am merely concerned that the Boards are not used for personal bickering

- they are not meant for that nor are those sort of posts in the spirit of The Cafe

- bickering can be done by E-mail (tho I know that folks will have no audience there)

- thanks for understanding

Thank you, Firekeeper.

The bickering was getting distracting, as was the underwear discussion.

Tho' I politely asked for folks to restrain a number of posts back, I may have been too subtle.

When I stopped being subtle, I was reprimanded a bit.
So it goes!

Thanks for all the attention, though. I continue to work on energy and color sensitivity, and may be making some progress.

Love, light & gratitude.

It's not as if I haven't heard worse. But thanks; I appreciate the apology.

Take care.

Talk about going way off topic!! lol.

But maybe it was a good thing to off load the angst, in such a way that something was eventually learned. Humility.

Things went a bit off colour there for a while, but now we're right on track.

bagle

Sometimes I look at people and 'see'/'feel' their energy. Not so much see colour, but have an intiutive realisation.
e.g. a fella/friend worked 21 hours. Saw him today and he seemed slightly off colour, like I said to myself he hadn't fully recovered. frightned me a bit.

Dear Firekeeper,

Although there was more discussion and reprimand about bickering than actual bickering; point taken.

alicel,

Hi,

I am not sure I would say one may 'learn' to see auras. I am more inclined to say that the more one develops one's ability to move energy personally and for others, the more likley it will be that one's own dense and subtle bodies will become clearer over time. As this happens one may use certain techniques to greater advantage. There are people who meditate for years and never see auras though they may become accomplished meditators and teachers of meditation.

Cheers,

RC

That makes sense, Reikicurmudgeon.

I feel that subtle transformations are taking place in me the more I work with the energy. Yesterday my hands tingled continuously all day, and I believe I may be starting to discern light, transluscent, flickering outlines around people when I really try, the lighting is right, and they're not moving too much.

Thanks for your input.
Peace.

alicel,

Hi,

I would offer, in addition, that should your development include 'seeing' auras that you ought to be able to do so regardless of the lighting or movement of the person. Our auras go with us do they not? And, aura light is independent of ambient light. Good luck with your work.

Cheers,

RC

I've always felt like if I didn't ask or strive to learn something new....such as seeing auras....dissolving clouds...etc....I miss out even on the trying.

Ponderings,

You always have something sweet and positive to say, and I thank you for that!

RC - Thank you, also, for your attention and input. It all remains to be seen how much one can affect the way the energy that is all around us is received and translated by our brains and senses. And, whether our adding intent and effort to the equation makes a difference. I'm going to be optimistic for now and see where a little intention and effort in my practice can take me. I do know that even where I am now, 10 weeks after level II attunement, is vastly different from where I was before that.

Peace and gratitude.
Alice
