Im glad to see so many people concerned with the healing of the planet. That is one of my greatest concerns too. I would like to share a revelation i have had. As we are all connected to everything, ive realized that for me to change the world for the better, i have to change within. If i were to stop smoking and live a more healthy life, the earth will follow. As above, so below. Or as within, so without. The anser is simple. I hope i got my message across. Suppose one were to translate "as it is inside, so outside" as: 'what is good for me is good for the earth'? Does this not open the 'interpretation' can of worms? Who am I to say what is good for you? Who am I to say what is truly good for me? LOL

How is destroying the Amazon rain forest to grow food or raise cattle good for the Earth?

What i recently realized is this: before man walked the earth and there was only nature, was there any good or bad? Were there good bugs and bad bugs? Isnt good or bad just a way for humans to project their opinions? There is no such thing as bad. Worms are good. :-)

Probably seven or eight years ago, I had a marvelous garden in town. Suddenly one day, a mass of aphids moved in. I sought information on how to destroy them, when I was chided big time by the members of my group. Killing anything is a no-no! So I did nothing. they ate their fill I guess, they seemed to go away leaving no damage to my garden. I had a plant that invaded from my neighbor garden. It was a water plant she had brought in from the river near us. It was multipying like crazy. this, too, I was cautioned about killing it. I talked to this plant and gave it this plan. I would move one of them, one who would volunteer. Move it back to a place near the river where there was land especially appropriate for them. the reast of them could move also. I followed through. The rest of this plant dwindled down by the time of the next spring. So I had to be couched on how to co-live with nature.
